Anyone have any hints/tips? Looks to be the same as a standard AK -- push the pin out and press the barrel out. But I think the feed ramps on the barrel may be troublesome. I'm doing this for a refinish job -- can't parkerize and molyresin the thing and fit it in my oven.

Hey everyone, I'm just getting started in Saigas. I plan on building a Saiga-12 SBS, basically a DIY copy of the Tromix S17 (http://www.tromix.com/images/8inchLage3w.jpg) I was wondering if someone could tell me if this handguard will work on a 12 gauge: http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/index.p...products_id=158 If not, what is the proper handguard that is used on the S17? Thanks for any help.
