Well, why doesn't Johnny Law just go in with his MRAP"s, automatic weapons, and ex-military helicopters and sweep the area until they find their man? Could it be (as usual) they are more worried about saving their own asses and projecting their power onto the innocent populace than they are taking a risk to locate the perp? Cabelas opened a store not far from me last month, first one in the Southeast I think. Finally got inside today to take a look. They appear to be real proud of their merchandise, some nice stuff, but sold at premium prices. Went back to the Gun Library, and I loved the fact that the traded in stuff was out and could be handled by anybody who cared to, and not stashed away behind a counter. Was surprised that they had at least 10 Mosins for sale at $199 each, some in better shape than others Looked at some other stuff, but again, they seem to have no clue about prices. Buy a DS Arms FAL or a PTR G3 clone. You can get a PTR GI variant in .308 for under $900 bucks now, and the HK surplus mags are dirt cheap for that rifle...
