  1. I'm good at reading a tape and bending tube also... so at said glass plant when they ordered rigid medgas line and told me to bend it we had a problem. They bought up every swagelok and parker compression fitting they could get from any distributor in the area for the oxygen injection system... End results looked like this. Could have saved them a lot of money if they bought the right material.
  2. I've seen schedule10 and schedule5. Schedule10 was a glass plant, 5 was dairy
  3. Nah, looks like there was a gap, but not 1/2". Weld looks heavy for the wall thickness, but some places want that.
  4. Read the flange : China I noticed it right off. Had a job where pipe and fittings came from 5 different countries. Only ones that matched up well were US and German.
  5. Shitty Cell phone camera. Stainless Duplex pipe, inconel wire. Building a header without proper tools for US Salt.
  6. Nice GTAW. Getting inside those slip on flanges might have been a bit rough using a 17 tig torch, or did you have a mini? Gotta show the roots on the open butts to really brag, the cap is mostly cosmetic. Can you stick? For show 6010 root 7018 cap, all root bends. welded in the 6g position. Stick is my weak suit. UA Lu #073 here with UA 22, 41, 71 certifications. The coupon above was practice for a UA 2 cert.
  7. Elanor from the original Gone in 60 seconds. Better movie than the remake, less bull, more chase. Death Race 2000
  8. Harley has to expand itself outside of its bread and butter. They almost went water cooled 4cyl in the 80s(http://www.bikerenews.com/AntiqueBikes/CodeNameNova.htm), and they were pushing in this direction with the Vrod to begin with. Bound to happen. Personally I'm a fan of smaller bikes anyway. Keep the Machismo, Early bikers(the ones now emulated) were proud as hell to just get out on two wheels. My father is as dyed in the wool harley as it gets, but remembers fond childhood memories with his father cleaning his 305 Dream. ] While I won't be going out of my way to pick one up,
  9. Remember I said I managed to beat startropics, but it was a chore? I had to get the frequency code from a issue of Nintendo power in a library...
  10. Having a little April fools fun, and showing he has a great sense of humor...
  11. I played Contra so much as a kid I could beat in on the first 3 lives with no continues. Still, never beat many of the old NES games. Ridiculously hard. beating star tropics was a chore. Never beat ninja turtles, Friday the 13th...
  12. Your welcome. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/85077-saiga-12-fuglystick-fal-handguard-combination/
  13. I wouldn't mix Glenfiddich. I do like Cutty Sark with some whiskey sour mix. Comes out tasting like a smokey margarita.
  14. ...and to get more to what everyone else considers fucked up.
  15. David Johansen has been referred to as a "Musical Chameleon" He was in the New York Dolls in the 70s, in the 80s he was Buster Poindexter singing "I'm Feeling HOT HOT HOT" But lately he has been delving back into blues. Great one while I wind down from a week of work with a class of Buleitt Rye...
  16. Okay, in the spirit of this being a fucked up music thread, I'm going to go outside of my standard (metal/industrial/hardcore/punk with heavy emphasis on Grindcore) and get into what is more of a stretch for my musical tastes. Jazz
