  1. I havn't touched any of that in 11 years. Never cared for it/wasn't my thing. I found i enjoy a good drink, and i'll stick with that. Still i do feel our treatment of weed is extreem, and a huge waste of manpower and money. I would rather see it taxed to death like cigs, better the money go to the state than organized crime. If people will pay over $7 a pack for cigs can you imagine what the state could charge for a dime bag? Maybe they should do the same thing with alcahol too.
  2. Looks like it might match someones Hummer.
  3. My personal favorite is molly resin over parkerization. For something that is a more commonly found and lower priced, some 1200 degree engine paint. I used some that contained ceramic on my first rifle. I think the brand name was Duplicolor. I bought it from the auto parts store. When I heated the rifle up to 100 degree and then sprayed it, it made for a more flat finish. Seemed to go on more even. Kind of dried on contact so I could go heavy without runs. I then baked it on to cure it, and the Bore scrubber I used to strip the original finish off wouldn't do anything to it. Even when
  4. I would like to see someone manufacture a line of beefy hinged covers with rail and rear peep for the Saiga rifle and shotguns. You would eliminate the need for having an upper stock tang to attach a beryl style rail. Who would need an ultimak if you had a good quality cover like that??? I talked to a machinest about having an entire cover with rail and adjustable rear peep CNC out, but it was going to cost a pile of money for a one off.
  5. Don't know if that one does, but I know they can be built to do so.
  6. The rail is part of the dust cover and the whole thing hinges on the RSB. There's also a short rail on the bottom of the gas block. Like this... Same Idea I've been pitchin for 5 or 6 years now. Everyone keeps dancing around it.
  7. I would inspect spent brass for clues. Inspect round after being chambered for deforemation. If I could, I'd inspect the inside of the barrel, including the chamber for defects. Would also check head space. Then ring allignment make sure the scope is not tweeked.
  8. Sounds like the 123grain bullet. I like'em! They did well in the gell tests .
  9. Experienced some of that global warming last week in the form of 16" of snow, 45MPH winds, and of coarse after after the cloud cover moves out the temps drop and give that toasty -30 windchill
  10. There were several complaints about him a few years ago.
  11. Unfortunately that is because you are not very bright. What makes you think that man has anything to do with it? Not only are you not a scientist but you are not a climatologist. The earth moves in cycles; it gets warmer and it gets colder over thousands of years. I'll add further that not only are you not very bright but it is people like you who admit they don't know but want to push their agenda off on others that is the problem. I suggest that you read and study more and talk less. What I have seen of your posts lately would indicate that you are a latent idiot. Try to stop it from
  12. Next they will make the neighbor pay support if he is nice to the kids next door, or the Boy Scout leader who mentored a fatherless kid... A woman does you shitty, so you should pay for it for the next 18+ years...
  13. In the state where I live, the whole system is messed up. It's very predujutial. Even the way the forms are worded is presumptive that the Father is the bad guy. I see why some guys book when they find out someone's PG now. Before I had the experience my self, I couldn't understand that at all. They like to say it's about the child, but it's really about making someone pay so the state doesn't have to. If it was really about the Child, then the state would enforce visitation also. But they don't.
  14. Someone might gain straight insert/drop free reloads with the magwell, but they would be realy limiting themselves on the mags they could use. Would also be more cost. Might be worth it if you have the time, money to spend till you get it right... I considered doing this before but never tried it. I wonder how regular AK mags would fit after installing the adapter, and then removing it? How much looser would they be?
  15. How loose does that drum fit after enlarging the magwell in the gun to add the straight insert magwell?
  16. Wait, what? Remove the barrel to change the stock on a Saiga?! If you're that worried about it just duct-tape something to the end of the barrel for the 30 seconds it takes to get one bolt snug on the new stock. Note that if you have any sort of muzzle device installed that should push you over 26" also. If ever asked by anal storm troopers, I think most people will have a tough time explaining how they went about it in a way that does not break the law, if they don't know how. A class III dealer gunsmith but I forgot his name sorry. I hear ya. Could be a judge

  18. The MSA adapter for the S-223 should work on the 7.62x39mm also. The C products mags are the only full cap 7.62x39mm that work worth a crap. Even they have had problems tweeking the design. They are usually more expensive also, but in theory they should work.
  19. If the barrel is removed before the stock is removed, then the min over all length does not apply at that point, until reassembled with the barrel.
  20. We have a buisness member that makes his own that seems to be a big improvement over those older ones.
  21. Or you could install a mag adapter from one of our buisness members that will allow you use AR15/M16 mags that can be bought at a lower price. Then you will have the straight insert/drop free that can be bought for less.
  22. I sometimes its difficult to get the manufacter to honor the mail in rebates.
  23. If it's for fighting, LMT. If I were using an M4 in combat, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the LMT uppers I have ran. They have all the goodies I want in one. LMT did change the key on their bolt carrier. From what I understand, they farm that part out now and it is poor quality. A lot of people who still want LMT bolt carrier, replace the key with a BCM. I know nothing wrong with the BCM bolt group. I,ve not used BCM nearly as mush. Some die hard Colt guys have compaired the quality to Colt, saying that in some aspects it might be even better. BCM prices are way lower than Colt.
