    AGP Mags

Well you obviously were not here when just about every thread on the forum was about AGP mags, and there was so much trolling, crying, and bitching every day that AGP themselves bailed on our forum. There's a big difference between sharing information and crying like a little baby. If you go back before there were such a thing as AGP mags we had 5 round factory mags.
  2. Are you serious?! I've not heard of that one. It's an interesting world isn't...
  3. It's simple. One of the forum rules say that you need to make a donation to the forum, as in money, then your status will be changed to "contributor". After that you are allowed to post things for sale. If you do not make a donation, and then wait for your membership status to be changed to "contributor", then you are not allowed to post anything for sale on the forum. If you keep breaking that rule you will likely be banned at some point.
  4. Get a welder and build a cage out of steel rebar. Weld in your steel door frame and hing. Cover it with what ever you choose. I assume you have some sort of weight limit, that could eliminate some materials ect...
  5. The first one I rode in was white, it reminded me of the shuttle craft on Star Trek...
  6. Why doesn't Ford bring back the Festiva? The one I had got 49.7 MPG on the highway, it always started, had almost 200,000 miles on it without being rebuilt and still ran good! They were low priced for a new car. The looks I would get when I passed people on the interstate at 75 or 80 MPH were funny! It was like people were insulted that little motorized roller skate could go faster that they were! They look like a nerdmobile, but four bolts would remove the back seat, and you could fit all kinds of stuff in through the hatch. I remember hauling someone's 28"screen TV home f
  7. I think it sounds like the pin is backing out of the bolt and causing drag like BVAMP reffered to above with a remedy.
  8. I have an uneasy feeling about the way this law could be applied in the future. I wonder though, could the fool that lived forced/coherced the dead one into using the gun and commiting the attempted robbery? If that was the case he should get his nads roasted...
  9. How bout making a holiday video and adding music to the background, like the "video fire place" with Christmas music? Or maybe shoot video out the window of a nice country scene during a snowfall with deer grazing and little rabbits and kids playing...and add music You get the idea. I thought it might be a small project that you could do on the side to bring in a few bucks while waiting for the big project to pay off.
  10. If it was running good before, my first suspect would be the bolt, or something causing drag on the action, or loss of gas. Did you find powder residue in any unusual places on the outside of the gun like close to/around the gas plug, or where the factory front sight is, like gas might be escaping? When you said that the puck rattles if you shake it, do you mean it moves forward and back, or it fits loose enough to rattle side to side? Does the bolt head spin/turn back and forth freely in the bolt, or is it stiff? When you have a failure to feed, is the shell being pushed o
  11. #5 shot works good for squirrels, rabbit, pheasant, qual. Usually put the bead on the tip of their nose so most of the shot hits the head and upper body. Does less damage to the meat. When I hunted racoons it was for their pelts, I didn't eat them. Used .22LR so as to only make one hole in the hide instead of several. That was enough to bring them down from the tree so the dogs could finish them off.
  12. This is a Saiga 308 rifle you put it in right? and you used a VEPER 308 RSA fire control group correct.?
  13. i cant post where but i'll pm you. The rule is against posting a link to the great deals. I don't know of any reason you can't post the name of the place, and what they have.
  14. I was wondering about this. I'm looking to get a red dot on my FAL and noticed I can't even use an EOtech because of the size. Is there an aimpoint that sits really low? It looks like the micro ones can. Anybody have a suggestion for a red dot that doesn't sit extremely high, for use on something other than an AR? I'm not up to date on all their models, but they offered a choice of different mounts with different heights. Edited to add: if you use a low mount, it really gets it down there close. Also, if you want a micro, but like the EOtech, they offer a micro now al
  15. What Generation tube do they use? What magnification are they?
  16. I realy like the rectical the EOtech uses. I wish they would build a model that sits lower for use on the AKs.
  17. There are many things that I don't need to try to know that they are a bad idea. JB weld as an integral part of a firearm mechanism is one of them. I'm a BSME and have been around the gun biz for awhile. Personally I don't care if you do it or not, and the only reason I'm posting is because some (lesser-experienced) people will think that this is a legitimate gunsmithing technique. It's not. Honestly, would you buy a gun if you pulled back the bolt and saw that in there? This is my concern when I see post like this.

  19. Blue is usually enough to keep things from working their way loose over time, yet can still be removed with a wrench, screwdriver, ect... Realy shoildn't need to apply heat to remove it unless you used red...
