I was wondering if there was a better iron sight set up for my 223. I would like to move the rear sight back to change the sight axes to be more like a traditonal rifle sight versus a piston sight. Any one done this if so how did you do it? I would assume it would be need to be mounted on the dust cover some how or on a rail? What options are there beside the side scope mount for a solid rail over the dust cover?

Thanks for the positive feed back. Some of these things I did not think about. The toilet seat is a good one. I have about 4 acres so an out house could be built pretty easy. There is a small lake 2 miles from the house if I get desperate for water. The problem is people are stupid by nature. I am not overley paranoid, but I do believe in preparing for the worst. I was wondering if someone one out there might have a list of things I should have if it all goes south. Opinions welcome, but I am hoping someone with real knowlege will chime in. for example: How much ammo should a stockpile? How much food for a family of 3? How much water? I noticed that on ak and ak variant the butt stock always angles downward at a slight angle. I want my butt stock to go back perfectley parralell with the reciever. Is there a better combo of adapter and stock that does this? I will photo shop something up so it's easier to see. I am about to go home and will me back with an exaple later.

I ordered a 30 round 223 mag from sportsman's guide but it is on back order. Anyone got a line on the best price for mags? I can not even find galil or wieger mags that I can make work. I would rather have siaga though so I don't have to deal with a ramp.

Sounds like singe hook is good enough. Does DPH have the springs? I saw a conversion on youtube where the guy took apart the old trigger to get the spring that looks like a pen spring. Oh yeah where is the best cook book?

Cant I use this trigger group from these guys? Will I need to make any mods to get them to fit? What other parts will I need?
