  1. Seriously! Deciding on what I want is the toughest part. I kinda would like to spend good money on a finished product, done right the first time, but an excellent conversion co, but part of me whats to customize it partially myself, but not fark it up, lolZ. Decisions.
  2. Some really nice looking product, I was just checking out their website, looks like they'll be shipping shortly..
  3. Care to hit some of the local ranges i.e. Calverton? :-)
  4. Been away for some time, joined years ago, but I'm finally getting a Saiga-12 in a week or so. Let the Mod's begin...! :-)
  5. I'm in the same mind set, I want to begin reloading my own shot gun shells too. Could you clue me in to which powder you've decided on? 209 primers I'm guessing?
  6. The Gaylans near me only went out in the last several years, replaced with the Dicks.. Ammo's good for 50 years, riiight? I'm still using my 7.62 FMJ's for my SKS, dated 1971 with no loss of accuracy or power, hehe.
  7. I polished the insides by feeding it a heavy diet of walmart bulkpack. But when Cobra Helped Chop the barrel from 21 to 18 we added a 4th port. All new imports have the 4th port and the shorter barrel. I wouldn't do anything other than a conversion UNLESS you have feed problems. If it jams clear the jam and keep going. If it jams the same way a few times shoot tell it jams and take pics of the jam. Post the pic here and in 5-10 min you'll know exactly what to do to fix the problem. Thanks for the info and heads up..!
  8. Thanks for the good info! Did you polish some of the internals on yours? It looks like the better move from everything I've read here.
  9. To the OP: That's a scary story for sure! I'd prolly just beat them to death in the house, make sure they are armed, and call the law. Two people can keep a secret, if one of them is dead...
  10. If nobama imposes a new federal restrictive law, Taxes will have to follow. This is not about good laws in Taxes and bad laws in New York, it about all of us, people, who they want to revoke the right to protect ourselves. If shit hits the fan, I will give up my .22 which has no real use anyhow, but they will have to use some extensive force to take my .308 and AK As long as I have my Saiga 12, I could care less. I'm selling my SKS shortly, as I really never use it. I'm stoked for the Saiga modifications to come though, hehe.
