  1. Congrats Mike, if you continue to expand and are ever looking for someone to help in customer service and phone support let me know. I have 10 + years of customer service and phone support in retail and would love to work in the gun industry! Also helps I am in the Dayton area.
  2. I am #4166. I live close to Mike and hopefully will be able to pick it up this week. I can't wait, looking forward to shooting this thing next weekend.
  3. I must be tired and blind right now. I wat to contribute to the site but can't find where I do it at.
  4. I also got one of these rods from MAA thinking it would count towards the 922r parts but it doesn't. My question is I did the same thing as the OP and thought I could just unscrew it before I noticed that it was pinned. I tugged on the rod a little and it gave me some unscrewing movement. It only moves a very very little, but did I screw it up by doing this or should I be ok? I am worried now that while firing the S 12 I might run into the rod breaking off from the bolt carrier. Is the little bit of movement something that I should fix right now or should I be fine? Thanks guys.
  5. The TLR-2 is a nice piece of equipment. I ended up selling mine though to get more ammo. Decided the laser wasn't really necessary for it on my Glock that I originally bought it for. Now I use just the TLR-1 which is way less since it doesn't have the laser. Thing works really well though on the Surefire Tri-rail.
  6. I placed in order 3 minutes ago and was wondering why my item hasn't shipped yet? This is just crazy and poor, poor customer service. If I ordered from Amazon 3 minutes ago the item would already be on my doorstep. This is just wrong. Ok enough joking around. Quit being dumbasses folks. You will get your product here soon enough. Mike keep up the good work!!
  7. Question for you guys also. Does your factory gas piston that is pinned to your bolt carrier move at all if you try to twist it? On the AKs that I own my gas piston is really tightly threaded in the bolt carrier and pinned on tightly with zero movement, but on my Saiga 12 shotgun I can with my hand twist the piston just a little. It is still pinned in there tightly, but is this going to become a huge problem?
  8. I did the same thing you did! I thought this was the puck??? I got mine last week and my next question is !! How the hell you get the old piston rod off??? DELETED
  9. Welcome, is this the Prometheus from GIM? If so welcome to the Saiga 12 club, if not also welcome to the club. The russian factory 5 rders are the only ones I like in 5 rds. AGPs are great, and I would take a Surefire over a Promag all day long, love the 2 Surefires I received today. They worked flawlessly once I got them fitted. Also pick up a MD-Arms 20 round drum, this is what defines a Saiga 12 IMO.
  10. I received 2 of these mags today and did the exact same thing that Corbin did to fix my problem. When you try to use a little force to get the mag inserted, you will see where the metal is hitting against the plastic, just take a little off there and it will slide right in.
  11. I ordered one of these and can say I am very happy that Mike is offering us these! I needed one anyway for my mods to the firearm to keep it 922r compliant with a Russian mag in it and this seems like a great option. My only question is how easy is it to drop this plug in? Is it just a matter of unscrewing the factory plug and screwing this one in? Thanks Installing Gunfixr's gas plug is a great addition to your gun but will do nothing for 922r compliance (replacing the gas puck would help though). Ah hell. Thanks for pointing that out though. Think I found a puck

  13. That isn't an actual Tromix converted S12 is it? Sounds like he is using keyword spamming and just a couple Tromix parts and then claiming it is an actual Tromix.
  14. Mike I live down in Miamisburg, if you are finding yourself overwhelmed and looking for someone who could work a couple days a week for you PM me. I currently work full time but on my 2 days off a week I could easily put in 6 to 8 hours a day if you need another pair of hands when it comes to packing, mailing or whatever. I don't know if I could be of any use in the manufacturering end of things, but I could help a bunch when it comes to the other side of things. Brendan
