  1. I prefer the Saiga 12 I was surprised at the responses from ar15 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&...=2&t=278539
  2. Are the Ultimak compatible?
  3. Thats a Tromix competition stock and I think its discontinued. I think it is specially molded for the cheek piece and unfortunately the regular ones are not. I havent seen any cheek pieces that will fit a regular tromix stock. maybe: http://www.onesourcetactical.com/index.asp...amp;ProdID=1058
  4. I was in Wal-Mart today and the lady behind the counter said Corporate doesnt allow limiting ammosales. According to her Corporate said if you have it sell the customer what they want.

Surefire 12 because they're relatively inexpensive and can be cut down to other sizes.
  6. There are a few threads asking about venting a Saiga's hand guard so i thought i would share what I did. All I used was a Dremel, a cut off wheel, small drill bit and a small file. The Dremel can get away from you and cut a little more than necessary if you're not careful. Hope this is helpful for anyone who wants to try to vent them on their own.
  7. I measured and drew my design on blue painters tape, Then stuck the tape on the hand guards and cut out the design with a dremel. Mine turned out ok. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=37653
  8. I went Saigatech and love it. But you cant go wrong with either.
  9. When I ordered the part Jan 12 it said it would ship out in 2-3 business days so Feb 3rd I inquired. This is the response: Thank you for your email. At this time due to increased order volume our shipping department is experiencing delays. Please keep in mind that we are working to ship all orders as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding. To avoid misinformation we will not be able to provide an ETA on shipping times. Thank you Ace Ltd.
  10. Just wanted say thanks for this idea. I finished my conversion and used them they're perfect. I had to drill both holes on one side to fit them but they popped right in the other with no problem.
  11. Thanks to both of you for the replies. I took the dust cover off and it seemed to contact the hammer a little. I used slightly more force and it slid all the way back. After several rackings it is gtg. Thanks again ERG80
