All depends on what the job is at the time.... guns are tools. And ALLLLL of mine are my faves, ....lol. But, I will agree on the S12 for my shotty.... I trust my life on it.

If you can catch them flying low enough, the S12 will be fine.. although I think you won't be hittin many birds with a drum... better stick to 10 round stick mag for better balance while leading the bird! Enjoy, and... PICS

Yeah, since they're not making anymore Saigas, I might would have to go that route. Good luck!
-
Hey brother! What a problem to deal with! lol
How many Saigas do you have now? How many ARs?
Are both possible?? lol

Congrats to her!!

Saw the 210s, but a search for 210M primers didn't pull them up...

Happy birthday!!!

lol, I'll be 60 in December, so I remember those days!
Been away from the forum for a few years due to family illness, but back now.

Haven't seen many Sagas that didn't stick close to bolt closing if you "rode" it back. As they are saying, pull I back and let it fly. Should lock right into place.

Cannot imagine what you are going through. Hate it for you

Was in the local wallyworld about a month back on a midweek morning and found two 333 rnd boxes of .22, snagged them up quick!! Haven't seen any since. Federal bulk pack 12 is still running around $26 . Even saw a spam can of .223, can't remember the price, was in a bit of a rush.

I'm QC for a big fabrication shop that builds parts for a major heavy machinery company. The advise for getting a PRO welder is sound. Once done right will last forever.

I have owned one for several years and it's a great rifle! As AA said, they are more compact than an AK, and pretty accurate. Even with the milled receiver, they run about a pound lighter than the AK. Wouldn't trade mine for anything. I would love to have one of the VZ58's, but for the difference in money, you can buy a whole lot of mags and ammo.
Got mine when they were $349, and during the "scare", I saw them going for several thousand. You won't go wrong with one. Just make sure that you get plenty of mags.

My Glock 27 is my least loved but best gun. It is the gun I work with and is with me all other times. Some do not like them and that is okay, but they work all the time.
I have XDM's M&P's, Sigmas, Sig's, Rugers and Colts but some how the 27 ends up with me. The Glock is a working Gun but I know a lot of guys who think it is a play gun and they love them.
I think It started to be my main carry when the 40 S&W 135 grain Federal Boarder Patrol crap started to be issued, My XDM did not like it. The Glock ate it all day like it eats everything. It took me a time to get used to my Glock but when it started working I trusted it more than any of my other guns.
I only have one Glock if you were close I might give your 17 a look.
Good luck !
Pretty similar here, carry the 26 always. When size isn't an issue, I have my 22 that I can trade out barrels and shoot 9mm.
I have about every brand and type out there but my GLock 26 is with me always. BUT i know that some have issues with them. Must be hand size, don't know.
OP, hope you find something you like. Let us know what you end up with. Good Luck, brother

that's what the church is supposed to do..spread the gospel, not to spread opinions. Same here Spartacus, I am a Christian, but this person doesn't speak for me nor any others that I know!!You also have to consider the location...Wall Street, New York. I imagine they do not have many gun owning conservatives or liberitarians in the congregation. Churches should stick with spreading the Gospel, and focusing on meeting the needs of people in their surrounding communities. They would be much more effective and relevent that way.

what is this .22lr that you speak of?
Walmart did and I haven't seen a box of .22LR there in over 2 years...Cabelas also has done nothing to ward off .22lr hoarders, so the .22 display is ALWAYS empty, even when the rest of their shelves are full.
Glad that my dad and I always gave each other bricks of it for birthdays and Christmas, else I wouldn't have the thousands of rounds on hand. I will shoot x39 rounds before.22, and that's so wrong and so unnatural! Crazy times we live in.

Don't get me wrong, candle flames ate a great target (if you can still see) but not really in to candles. Not that there's Anything wrong with that.
I got to looking at three big picture and started laughing, just think, a store named candles being talked about on a gun forum like this...I'm sure I would have been asked to turn in my man card. Lol.but, it's way funnier to leave it...... oh, allright!!
Oh, and would you get rid of the double post please...you REALLY ARE my favorite moderator, REALLY!
Now you know why I was so confused!
It's cool if you're into candles, but I can't think most of the membership here would share that with you!

About all I will be picking up is ammo from time to time. What's going to be interesting is that Palmetto State Armory opened up last year just down the same road. Wondering if there might be a little competition between the two. Hope so.Enjoy the steep prices! I rarely ever walk into my local one, shame really.
As a rule I try to stay away from that area of , too much traffic, but will check it out through the week after it settles down.

First store in the Southeast just happens to open just minutes from my home..will probably hurt my hip pocket before long. Grand opening today and still thousands of folks showed up...will be crowded this weekend for sure.
Think I will let it settle down before I get near it, traffic is bad enough in they neck of the woods as it is!

It all depends on what you're planning to do with the rifle. The 20" is optimal for the round itself, that's why I bought it years ago
