  1. Made it to the local gun show today.Getting harder to make it through without my hips griping at me. ARs abound, not many AKs. Saw a WASR priced at $1,000.!!!! They probably took it back home with them. Saw a Saiga 12 in a Kushnapup stock with a$1495 tag on it. Stock S12s going for $700. Saw one 20 gauge.   6. I have had this rifle for several years, just been on the back burner as far as a dress up. So fat, it has run everything through it without a hiccup. May run into an issue yet. Waiting on a deal for an M4style stock or adapter to allow one...the bakelite stock and folder are a but short for me. Merry Christmas y'all!

  8. Well, finally got around to putting things together. The quad rail is really light and mounts up solid. The Mako pistol grip is comfortable to hold. All in all, I lake it, gonna have to get some rail covers for the side rails..sharp!
  9. Well after posting, found out that the handguard is on backorder.As soon as parts come in, will post pics. These Lil carbines are.sweet. Don't know how many on here still own.them, at one time,.it was a good number.The mislabeled holds the barrel down well but it's loud as hell! Later gents. I am not a patient person when waiting I'm parts! Lol
  10. Finally getting around to changing out the furniture on my VZ2008. It is my truck gun and theis past weekend I finally got around to repairing the folding stock and wrappingn it with paracord. It was late when I finished the stock so I got it out of the truck. The cold, damp weather had not been kind to the bakelite handguard and pistol grip. Wifey said you have a birthday coming up so get what you need for it. I went as cheap as I could, it being close to.Christmas and funds being right.   12. I LOVE My VZ58!! To Me, The Sweetest Little 30 Cal Carbine Out.There. Very Quick Handling, And Accurate. Dressing One Out Tactically Is.Expensive But You Only Do It once.

  14. I would prolly pick another 21" S-308 , have the barrel cut down to 18" and call it good. Thinking about it, for what it costs, you could pick up a LOT of 308 ammo amd git yore Saiga all purtied up.

  17. Looks like this may be one that I do some trading around to get......AFTER it has been on the market awhile. Make sure the bugs have been worked out. And I agree about keeping a spare extractor or two and shooting steel.
  18. When I was in textiles, we used to send them after steam samples. you ought to have seen those kids running around with a ziplock bag trying to catch steam from the air around the machines.
