As I was busy in the lab tonight, a young boy working through the temp service came in and asked me where the metal stretcher was. Turns out the production supervisor had sent him in search of it. After a REAL good laugh from the whole shift, I got to thinking about all of the "fools errands" that youth have been sent in search of. What are some of the errands that y'all have been sent on or that you have been in search of? I KNOW that there are some funny stories out there.

Ronin, hate to hear about the lay off, I guess theres no one here of age that it hasnt happened to in the past ten years or so. A sucky time. I would go with personally moving them, only way I would feel comfy about it. When I was younger, I moved mine multiple times in my trunk, but that wouldn't be an option now as my collection od BB guns ( ) has grown. But still... Any idea on a job lead? What do you do and where are you thinking about...just thinking maybe a member might be able to give you a little info on the market if you had a notion of where you might land.

You are right about the ammo, Pauly. Guns do not run without it. A few guns can do a lot with thousands of rounds, but thousands of guns cant do much with just a few rounds. And as far as guns...I really have no idea just how many I have. I would miss one if it weren't in it's place, but haven't taken a count in a few years.

I played Laser-tag with my Brothers in the Salem Civil Defense Corps (our local militia) and realized 3 things.... 1- Pauly's aging. 2- Pauly neds to start running 3- A Draco is nearly useless. (Apparently you have to hold the new commercial Laser-tag guns, which are like big pistols with your left hand over a handguard... They're like Dracos except without sights... Not very realistic, to say the least.) Heck, I would ben tickled if I got back to WALKING!!!! Dr. hinted the other day that a little steady exercise would help me out a l

Same thing here Chile. Never log on at home, not there much. Spend more time at work than home trying to make ends meet. What sucks is that I make a very decent wage....or what USED to be a decent wage. Now, it takes that at times .5-.75 more hours to keep the nostrils above the water. Could be way worse...could be looking for a job.

Great use for a dead freezer!!! Just hauled my commercial Gibson off a month or two back. Served me well for 0ver 20 years. Gewtting another this weekend fort the bounty that I hope comes.
