  1. I just checked gunbroker.com, they had several on auction.
  2. There we go, had to figure out the attatchment deal! WHEW!
  3. Gilbert's, as well as some other e-businesses, do auction off as well as list them on their website...guess they are making a little more on no reserve auctions, huh.
  4. I know, at our local gunshop...when he has'em they sell currently for $450 ? He only gets them in sporadically. It's like the lister is a dealer at our local gun shows...he's hoping that people either don't know the average prices, or they've heard of the brand and also some distant democrat drums.
  5. Was just looking though the local I WANNA (a local trader paper) and someone had a NIB Saiga 7.62 listed for $995! Just wishfull thinking on their part or a portent of things to come! I hope just wishful thinking! LOL
  6. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up. Last week I ordered a UTG quad rail from combathunting.com SKU:MNT-HG478SA . It is listed as fitting the AK47 and specifically says it fits the varients Saiga 223 and 7.62 ....well it doesn't. The top rail is too small to go over the gas tube. They list another one for AKs with oversized gas tubes, but list the model shown for Saiga's. I have e-mailed their customer service dept to see whats up, but figured I'd save someone else the hassle. For what it's worth, this is a really nice looking solid feeling quad rail, just hope that they have one that will
  7. Starballs, are you a native or a transplant. I am one of the chosen few, although I don't reside there anymore. origionally from Lowdnes county. Small world, huh!
  8. Ditto, put mine on in just a few minutes sittin in my recliner watchin Lonesome Dove. It really is that simple! On my 223 it really feels great, the pistol grip makes a world of difference holding the rifle, and it just looks too kool. With the collapsible stock, my wife can comfortably handle it now. Best $60 bucks I've spent in awhile.
  9. Hopefully as long as you are 922 compliant, you should be good to go...grandfathering and all.
  10. Thats a C-note more than I gave back in Nov. but a fair price now If you can find one! I cannot brag enough on mine!! I just wish that I had gotten one years ago!! I own more than any man's fair share of long guns and side arms but this one is my favorite one to pull out for any excuse to fire off a few mags. I simply love this rifle!
  11. Jump on it Bubba, 'round here now IF you can find one they are $450-$550, plain stock, no frills with one 10 round mag. My wife gave $349 NIB for mine Nov. 19 of last year. Store owner had sold 20 in the three previous days before I got mine and had three left when I picked mine out....if I had only known, I would have picked all three up!!! Mine is really startin to look good with all the goodies that "mama" is forcing me to pick up to as she says "pimp it out" LOL
  12. You're right, no need to go through all that trouble when I have a perfectly good tube in there now. I can't wait to get my stuff in next week and play with it again, it's one of the most fun rifles that I've ever owned and I probably own way more than I need now...but what does need have to do with anything! LOL Once again, thanks for your help!
  13. I just was reading on Dinzag's website and according to my understanding, I should be o.k. I am using Surefire mags and have ordered a Tapco T6 collapsible stock. If I'm wrong on this, please let me know. Thanks so much for your reply!
  14. Do any of the merchants on this forum carry U.S.A. made gas pistons for my Saiga 223? Or if not where would be the best place to purchase one. Thanks in advance!
  15. Yep, it is tickbite, I had googled the mags and it came up as Davids collectibles. I ordered a surefire from Gilberts guns for 39.95 to do me untill I heard back from tickbite...they didn't say if they were in stock or not and I e-mailed them to ask about availibility. Thanks
  16. Has anyone tried the mags from Davids collectible magazines? They offer 30 rounders specifically for the Saiga 223 for 24.99. I hope someone has and can enlighten us on their quality. This is my first post here. I sure was glad to find out that I'm not the only one in love with these rifles! I only wish that I would have had the courage to lay down money on one when they were cheaper and more plentiful i.e. before Osama got elected! Thanks y'all !
