    Jamming

I bought a box of the Winchester AA 2 3/4" 7/8 ounce 9 shot and that fixed the jamming problem.

Honestly the gas settings don't seem to change anything. In fact I think it jams less on 1. I,ve been shooting the federal 7/8 ounce high brass(er steel) stuff from wally world for $14 bucks per 100. It jams the same with 3" shells.

    Jamming

It seems like every 2 mags or so (sometimes every mag) my gun jams. It looks like it doesn't eject the shell fast enough and the brass gets stuck in the slide then the slide shuts and really jams it good. It chambers the next round so I can't just rack it to get it out or I have to pull the mag then eject the round blah blah blah. It's really annoying for any fast follow up shots. I have about 50-75 rounds thru it so will this go away? Or is there a way to fix this?
  4. Glad it worked out, My have been cycling good too.
  5. Well mine definately has some choke I can see the taper and the end is the only shiny part in the barrel after putting rounds thru it.
  6. Kayaker, They will not. I turn the mag follower backwards in my 76mm mags to shoot 70mm shells. This works good most of the time.
  7. Email sent, thnx Emclean. Well you heard him guys lets let him know how many of us would buy one.
  8. Any update on the stocks Emclean? As IndyArms said TH1-1103 would be very nice.
  9. Unless you want to load up some 3" slugs.
  10. The gun will take both 3"(76mm) or 2 3/4"(70mm). The mag you have is for 2 3/4" hence the 70 on it. you can find 3" mags on sell at CDNN for $9.99. As for the 70mm ones not sure who's the cheapest.
  11. Hmmm, Thanks for the info. I guess I won't buy anymore steel.
  12. Ok update on this. I can no longer get the mag to chamber the last round(it sits too low in the front). The good news is that with the follower turned around it gives you a flat base on which you can form your own ramp that is the right level. More on this as I do more experamenting.
  13. I just got my 76mm mags from CDNN (only $10 each so I couldn't pass it up). I was looking at one trying to figure out how to get 70mm shells to cycle right and it seems if the shell sits a little lower up front it will work. By mistake I put the follower in backwards (it's a little sticky but it fits) and this actually put the shell in the right place. I have some trouble with loading the mag but after it's full the rounds cycle fine, I havn't shot it yet but cycling it fast by hand works great.
  14. I was told not to shoot steel shot because I have the built in 0.9 choke or it would "bell" out the barrel. Is this true?
  15. I'd like to find one with the weaver base so I can mount one of those open style red dots. Any brands that fit better then the others? Thanks for the info.
