  2. I polished my bolt per the posts on this forum and I polished the bolt slide rails. I also checked my gas ports (3) and verified that they were clear. I also racked the bolt about a hundred times. Placed the gas adjustment on #2. All this before the first shot was fired. I then bought some Wal-Mart Federal 2-1/2 #8 shells and went shooting... Fired and cycled everytime, no problem. This is a new gun from Classic Arms. My only modification to this point is a Russian skeleton stock... May do more in the future since I want to shoot 10 round mags... MrEracer
  3. Okay, let's see if I have this right. You want to re-engineer the whole gun just to make it look cool... Okay, if that floats your boat. A major modification like that would only be done to improve performance. This will likely degrade performance. That said, if I were doing it I would move everything forward and then extend the bolt piston rod. This will maintain the same piston chamber volume as before and the 1-2 gas adjustment feature.
