Can anyone list a place to pick up some parts to make it into a Saiganov? Also anyone have pics of their's?

I bought a Saiga M around 2 years ago. They only had the 21" in stock. I haven't converted it yet but am having a little buyer's remorse that i didn't get the more compact 16". Tell me why I should be happy I got the longer barreled M. Maybe turn it into a Dragonuv like clone, but in .223?

Are you guys referring to the Saiga M? Itsn't the 223 M closer to 22 inches?

I would be interested in any feedback on this question as the reloading forum is sparse. I am new to reloading and ordered Hornady 55 grain FMJ-BT W/C, Ramshot Tac powder, and Remington 7 1/2 primers. I plan on using fired M193 brass. I hope i got the right components. Most of my research was on the AR-15 boards. hopefully the info will jive with Saiga's specs.

I believe I have heard that the regular Saiga was 1:9 also. Does the extra inch the M model has make a difference in twist rate. And to be honest i don't even understand the concept of twist and how it relates to bullet weight...could someone give me a crash course as to what bullets perform the best? thanks.

I'm going to start reloading and want to optimize the loads. Anyone know the twist rate? Have any tips for a noob? I will be using LC XM193 and Prvi M193 fired brass. I'm thinking of getting Hornady 55 grn FMJ-BT but haven't decided due to not knowing the twist.

Xm-193 is good to go in Saiga .223 i hear, you hear the same? I hope it's good to go as I have spent way too much on M193 in the last week.

What is the twist ratio in these barrels?

Are the barrels the same as the original? I wonder if it will shoot 5.56 with no problems.

The ammo oracle says wolf is crap and doesn't even fragment at high velocities because the steel jacket is too heavy. Are there any other tests that prove this wrong? Is Barnaul any different?

The plastic stocked model I bought (.223) has the same trigger setup as the normal Saiga 308, and not the same as the normal Saiga .223 or 7.62x39 models. Is it a better trigger then the regular 223?

Is the receiver on the black stock M identical to regular Saiga? I got the tapco T6 and now I'm worried it won't fit. I hope surefire mags fit also.
