  1. Thanks Mike, My saiga fte buckshot 50% of the time, forget about birdshot. It has 3 ports that are unobstructed. I will need one of those pistons more than I needed that gas plug it seems.
  2. I just got this. It is my first Ak style anything. The drums arrived before the shotgun. Thank you to everyone here that posted their thoughts, problems, and solutions. I learned everything I know about Saiga shotguns from you guys. I would like to also thank the guys who made the really cool black parts. Mike, Cameron, and the Tromix guy. Here we have a Saiga 12 sunning itself in the desert near the Colorado river.
  3. 4737 is in the brown truck. Thanks again Mike! Nothing further to report.
  4. Do you have an estimate for the next run of these? I seem to be too late.
  5. I agree with the ammo, ammo, ammo guys. An eccentric friend of mine pointed out that he will need 60k over his lifetime (the next 20 years) of 5.56 to continue shooting the aproximatly 300 rounds per month that he currently shoots. Thats is planning for the worst at its best.
  6. I have been pimping this rail too. I posted a link on arfcom today. I don't think my smith wants to give it back. J/k I know he is showing it off. He mounted it to his showroom gun. He keeps saying mine will be done next week, or soon.
  7. how do you guys know what your order number is? my first CC charge was a while back, but I don't keep good enough records to check for the second. how do you verify your order is still good and active rather than just waiting on the UPS guy to show up one day with the magic??? thanks - 20 short I logged onto Mike's web page https://www.websourcellc.com/mdarms_com/scr...222182256638735 and checked my ORDER STATUS.
  8. Thank you. Very nice metal. It was waiting for me to get home this morning. Funny, it feels colder than the outside temp. It must have been a cold trip.
  9. My gunsmith really liked your work said its a go so I am ordering now. He bookmarked your sight for future builds. You should be hearing from him too.
  10. The vented rails where lower 0.060 so they should clear, if not there shouldn't be much material to file. Thanks for the light speed reply. I will be waiting for the shop to open. I hope a tri-rail is in stock.
  11. Nice! How is the fit with Hk sights now? I read that some filing and fitting is needed. I also read that the design was slightly modified to reduce the amount of fitting needed. I need to get with my smith to stop him from putting the Galil grip on my saiga asap. He or I will order this before the sun sets today if there is no unforeseen problem.
