  1. And that is just titties. Big, round, perky, symmetrical and tanned TITTIES, I tell you! If you got it for less than 2500 you done good, and I am jealous. Congratulations on a piston-driven rifle that makes the most die-hard and proven real-world operators that are fans of the AR platform get wood. Son, I got wood. Enjoy, good sir.
  2. My advice (and I am in no way, shape, or form any kind of investor or analyst): Don't. The precious metals market is saturated and is in an artificial bubble. Seeing G. Gordon Liddy and Steve Wilkos (that old bald body guard of Jerry Springer's) hawking silver and gold all over daytime TV reminds me of the late-1990's tech stock bubble whereby Ana Kournikova and NFL linebackers were hawking tech-based mutual funds. Shit's way inflated over-the-top right now. Now is NOT the time. In fact, no matter what you do in life, or what you do or don't know about investing, it's never an unsafe s
  3. Sure, I name some of my guns. I name lots of stuff. Every car I've ever owned has had a name. It's fun to name things. *scratches his sweaty Pelosi*
  4. They can't do that. At the worst it'll be like the SPAS-12 or the Street Sweeper that were re-classified as Destructive Devices, and with those that were in citizen's hands they grandfathered in a free tax stamp, making the guns more valuable. Not that I care. I'm not a gun investor. I'm a gun enthusiast, and I don't want to see the value of my S12 rise because of this. But, as I understand it, and I have not read the official site or "study" claims, the BATFE is actually gauging (hey....that was a pun) interest and accepting comments until May 1 about this. Whether they will wipe t
  5. NEW THREAD ABOUT THE BATFE SORT OF SHOTGUN BAN!!! *takes another drink* Man, I'm going to have to stop playing. I'm tore up over here......
  6. 1. As everyone has said, that is incredible. 2. For the amount of work he put into it, the prices he's charging are DIRT cheap. 3. Another bullet point full of brevity and relevance....oh look! TITTIES IN TEH AVATAR!!
  7. Goddamn, Sal. That was hilarious, but not for the reason you intended it to be. :lolol:
  8. I'm not. No offense to anyone, but gun owners typically aren't the most rational group out there. Doesn't take much to cause a panic buy. And what you see here on the internet is nothing. Ever talk gun politics with a typical Bubba at the gun range? Doesn't take a whole lot for them to start running around like chicken little because someone sent them a chain e-mail (via AOL) quoting a bill that's been dead in committee for a decade. Troof. Unbelievable Troof. And they're not just idiots, it's an ignorance thing. I know a lot of smart people (much smarter and wiser than me) that
  9. Demand did. Demand just increased by 30 dollars. Hell, depending on this ruling (or complete hoax, or whatever) demand could go up $300 dollars. Not for me to buy one, but they don't need to sell one to me. They need to maximize profits on their inventory, and feel like they can liquidate it quickly even at 30-dollars more. Which they will. Everyone will. My prediction is that there will neither be any definitive proof that the BATFE was gonna do anything about Saigas, nor any Saiga-12s in stock anywhere by the end of the day.
  10. I hope nothing happens to our shotguns. I mean, this is the 14th new thread started on this subject here in the last two days, and the only actual info I've seen so far is a link to one single blog post. It makes me cringe at what would happen to the forums if any credible information were to officially be released that affects our Saiga-12s. This place would be like that scene in Being John Malkovich where Malcovich goes through the tunnel as himself, and everything and everyone is Malkovich. Like all the subforums would be re-named "BATFE Ruling". And all the threads therein would be
  11. This is like the 10th ACTIVE thread about this same topic. I think 5 are in General, 3 or 4 are here on this very front page, and there's one or two open elsewhere on S12 forums. I think I'm gonna start a thread in General about how many threads there are about this one guy's blog post.
  12. The guy I know with the biggest (and most full-auto) collection of anyone I know swears by Fort Knox: http://www.ftknox.com/ They've got a lot of different model lines. I've also heard that your safe should ideally be against an exterior wall, since there is no fire rating if your burning house collapses onto it. But that's all I know.
  13. That's why people are starting to raise eyebrows at this info. Like you said, on every gun forum posting about it.....it's all the same link to the same page. No one else apparently has any info on it. wouldent that be some shit if it was one big "april fools" type bullshit all to boost sales? Someone would be deserving a punch to the throat for that one. Gun owners, as a general rule, sure are a bunch of easily panicked folk aren't they? I think I'ma go open a gun store and a LiveJournal account. Phase 3? Profit!
  14. Lots of VERY detailed threads (complete with comprehensive video testing thanks to Bridis) about that plug. This is my opinion on it, and It has not been refuted: The TAC-47 AutoPlug (which I own and fully endorse) is designed to dampen the force and bleed off the gas from high-brass rounds. It is NOT designed to cycle bulk-pack birdshot. The valve bleeds off excess pressure and, since it doesn't have an automatically actuating CO2 cartridge to further boost the charge, CANNOT introduce more pressure into the system if your gun won't cycle bulk birdshot with the valve fully closed. Tha
  15. I'm a prepper first and S12 enthusiast second (now. it didn't used to be that way). Going into debt to buy guns is, for a prepper, total FAIL. Actually, going into debt to buy much of anything related to preparedness is prep failure of the highest order. So, I salute you, and I hope you got a good price on those S12s, and nothing personal, but I SINCERELY hope that they do not appreciate in value in ANY WAY because of any new governmental ruling or change. I bought a bunch of shit during the Panic of '08, and I could not be happier that I now look upon it as overpriced, unnecessarily p
  16. So...and I'm sorry if I missed it in this and other threads about this issue. Is there ANY other source or form of information about this besides this ONE DUDE'S blog post? I've seen this in countless threads on several forums, and the only link I've found is to this one guy's blog. What up?
  17. How do I access that, BTW? You need to do two things to access the politics section: 1.type in the code "iwantin" when prompted. 2.hold your nose, because there is a lot of shit down there. Sal, Jesus Christ. Look man, I know it's unfair to do this, but I have to hold someone besides myself personally responsible for the 30 minutes and 30 IQ points I just lost. Well, you warned me.
  18. And TERM LIMITS!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE TERM LIMITS ON EVERYONE!!!! Yeah, Gun shows look more like a mall in my neck of the woods, and this is a Good Thing. The Second Amendment may become a way to show Liberals (The word, classically, is very close to Libertarian) that the people they are voting for that call themselves "Liberals" are very, very, very much indeed something else. Something much worse.
  19. That's because he likely wasn't hunting. Based on the deer's rack, and the oblivious behavior of it to gunshots, it looks like some douche that can't shoot for shit was trying to "bag" a damn-near domesticated and possibly penned-in animal. And was failing miserably.
  20. Not in the sense of what that word has come to mean and represent in modern America. Semantically, I agree with you. But only semantically.
  21. ??? I have a Saiga 12, I posted this because it worried me about the legality of the gun I own. And I'm planing on getting a Mossberg 500. Scare tactic? Maybe you should leave your basement sometime it might help your paranoia. You haven't even contributed to the forum. And you ask for me to be banned? Hell, I wasn't gonna say anything, but I'll second that. Oh, and thanks, Bridis, for the in-depth and extensive video review you contributed to the forum. I watched it with interest and it helped me make a decision on the product.
