  1. Good to see it come back to the division. Way to go breaking the "Hossa Curse" Gonna make next seasons wings v blackhawks games real interesting. Go Wings!
  2. Sweet Thanks. I kinda know the area from my youth but will definitely get a map, maybe go to a restaurant and talk to some locals. We have an old quarry by where we're at but I wanna try out some new spots.
  3. All of the Michigander's know what Up North is. My family's property is in the Grayling/Roscommon area. Any suggestions on some good places to shoot? Of course there is always an expanse of state land that we can shoot at but i'm looking for the good spots. The hard to reach, or visually appealing spots. Really just a good place for a long series of loud booms.
  4. this guys accent is perfect for AK vids, but I'd prefer leonard nemoy
  5. Thanks guys, very helpful. diagnosed without an office visit, damn.
  6. As with anything made in Russia, there is a lot of pushing and shoving involved
  7. I thought that may be the problem. It's unconverted and I was using the mags that i got when i purchased the rifle from a friend http://pics.gunbroker.com/GB/123650000/123...ix240389156.jpg i don't know if they're modified because i don't know whether they'd work in a saiga otherwise.
  8. My 223 has been having problems loading rounds and the bolt is catching on the middle of them gouging deeply. Tried different ammo and had the same result. Anyone else had this problem before? Mine is EAA imported (bought it from a friend) so i don't know if RAA would take it in even if it was a manufacturer defect. Any help would be much appreciated, I don't want to ruin another vacation up north.
  9. I have a 223 saiga that was bought at christmas from my ole lady as a gift to me. It is not imported by RAA but has an EAA stamp. Forgive a question of a newb but is there any difference in quality (i know they're both made at izhmash)? is either one more sought after? Also i just added a tapco t6 telescoping stock, love it, well worth the money if you don't want to fully convert (plus now it can be used by the lady). of course now i want to do a full PG conversion and buy another , but alas, the $$ situation is killer in michigan.
  10. Good sir, I think the only way that is legal is if you sing "Hail to the victors" while doing it! Thanks for the offer and the belief that I can accomplish this guys. But i think I'll go with the tapco setup at least until my tax $$ comes. Besides the ole lady can't use it until the stock get shorter so that problem need solved with the quickness. That way she won't bitch about the money I'll be spending in the near future.
  11. My family has had an intervention because i started sleeping with my 223. My grandmother cried, my mom won't talk to me. They say i need rehab, but it costs $800 so instead i think i'll get a 12 guage.
  12. Thats ok i may have to just settle for the tapco t6 setup. this sporting stock is killing me though, it's like an AK sippy cup, or AK safety scissors
  13. Anyone know of a person able to convert my 223 in Michigan? I would do it myself but i have no time or tools or knowledge to do so. Not to say that I'm afraid i'd hurt it since it's an ak but i have no time and i think the first try would require alot of that. Also i'm wary of shipping it since i'm rather paraniod about most things.
