I have had excellent customer service from AGP. Kevin answered 2 email questions for me this week in a few hours. I don't think your situation is the "norm" Might want to try again, I'm sure these guys answer 100's of calls and e mails a day, anything can happen with that volume of calls and e mails. AGP customer service is good to go!!!

The $30.00 range Pro Mags ain't happening anywhere I've looked either. I've had excellent results with my AGP mags. The mags work great no problems. I have also tried Surefire mags with no problems. It might be me, but I think the Surefire mags cycle just a bit faster than AGP mags in my S-12. Can't go wrong with AGP or Surefire mags IMHO.

SiCaRiO sweet looking S12's!!! Any other mods needed to fit standard AK grip to Tromix DIY TG? Does the standard AK grip fit flush to the receiver?

I got a S-12 Monday from Centerfire. My S-12 seems have fairly late serial number. I had 2 lower numbered S-12s that fell into the "vodka special" category, sent back to RAAC. I checked the gas ports, this one had three gas ports. The gas ports were not obstructed by the gas chamber. Of course, I had to test fire the S-12--functioned great with high and low brass ammo, right out of the box! Centerfire is great folks to deal with!!
