  1. is snowed in, SC is immobilized.

  2. I would be happy if I had no choice to convert a saiga as long as it wan't the 308 version. I only had the chance to dry fire my s308---I went straight to the conversion. Who in the right mind puts a 15/16th centry crossbow trigger on a damn 20th centry weapon? converted 308
  3. I had one when I was 13, 8x4mm almost complete blockage of the ureter. It all started when I would run with my friend and I started getting slower and slower and the pain from running kept coming at shorter intervals. One night I took a leak and it was pink. In the morning it looked like pure blood, then the pain took hold. Spent 4 days in the hospital, they had interns trying to figure out what was wrong with me... (If your the interns reading, me peeing blood has nothing to do with my large intestine) . A few times I was screaming to die, that is how bad the pain was. Other pains
  4. Thanks will do some research on the sites you mentioned. If it seems like a sham, I will just build a 7.62x25 AK instead. I have been itching for a new hobby since I got out of the car hobby. Thanks again.
  5. Well I would have ordered from them today, but when I clicked check out it gave me a warning about the security certificates of the site. Hence the reason I ask. BTW I am tired of English home work right now.
  6. I just curious if anybody has delt with them, I am going to be building a cetme/g3 and they have the best deal for g3 receiver flats. Unless, we have a sponsor that sells g3 flats on the board let me know--- I will buy from them instead.
  7. Are they competing with Centry arms or something? It's a shame those kind of people exist.
  8. Birch, maple, walnut, ash...ect try not to get a wood that is real grainy like some oaks. What kind of woods do you have locally? You could always follow this trend http://www.gunpundit.com/1097.php Best thing about making your own stock is that you make it not only to fit the gun, you make it to fit you.
  9. As long as I have good ammo like slugs and buck shot I leave it as is with a pistol grip. I rifled barrel would be nice since I primarily fire slugs.
  10. One is laquer coated the other zinc coated. Ak will eat them both up the same. Laquer coating scrapes off and builds up on other types of guns and can cause jams.
  11. You could always make your own. Once you get the front end done of the butt stock (where all the screws go) the rest is easy. You can carve out the front part with some chisles and do all your shaping for the rest of the stock with a drum sander on a drill press. Just copy the design of the factory one. You could also make it feel more sturdy by filling it with structural foam. The stuff works great on car chassis' really kills the flex. good luck
  12. About 1.25MOA Sellier & Bellot 147gr. FMJ 16" Saiga 7.62 Nato/308Win Nikon buck master scope, on a http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-264/AK-Saiga-mount-low/Detail that I modified by welding the rail to the mount so i do not have to worry about the screws backing out. measured from 1 and 4 I pulled the 4th and 5th. Fifth shot was really pulled hard, the benches at the range are horribly uncomfortable and awkward to sit at.
  13. I have a pa 63 with the pologonal rifling, thing is very accurate for its size. You may want to look for one of them I got it for 160 brand new. The only thing I did to inprove it was add a lead weight to the bottom of the magazine (the magazines are too light to eject). It doesn't have mag capacity of the cz82, but it is smaller and much lighter.
  14. opps I ment to hit edit... I dunno about that scope mount looks rather high I had a high scope mount like that before and I hated it i had no cheek weld what so ever. I am using http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-264/AK-Saiga-mount-low/Detail it sits off center too the right... which is good for me since I shoot south paw. They also have http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-313/Saiga-Ak47-Russian-Scope/Detail which is the factory saiga one.
