Tried the strikefire optic this weekend, over 1K rounds through AR,PS90,GSG and it did awesome on all of them! I think i will get a larue mount or similiar that has the quick disconnects though so i can switch between weapons alot easier.

It'll be awhile before it goes on the saiga. I dont have a mount for it yet. I will have to do some homework on a good solid mount or attaching point i should say. I will report when i do though.

Well i contacted vortex about the strikefire, and was asking if it would work on my ps90 in particular, maybe a gsg,etc. i was told yes but they would need a low mount instead of the highmount(needed for AR15 flat top) that comes w/the sight. Sam then emailed me a price of 25 bucks for the mount. I emailed him today to see if i ordered it today if i would get it by saturday. He replied no it would need 2nd day air to make sure it would make the sat delivery. I then emailed him back to see the cost of the next day shipping costs but got a automated reply stating he was out of the office. There

The vortex strikefire has a lifetime warranty? so how is it a waste of money. They state it can withstand mag load recoils,etc. Im not trying to argue but you i can also state you cant dog the strikefire when you havent tried it..... It has a ton of great reports on AR15.com w/people chiming in that it has lasted XXXX thousand rounds on this rifle,etc. I agree buy crap get crap, but also sometimes you find a good product that doesnt break the bank. I had the chance to mess w/ the vortex strikefire this weekend and thought it was really good. I'm still a little unsure of the magnifier w/it but other then that it was really nice. I like the fact you can switch from red to green dots, the lense caps were decent, the mount could be a little better but hey its under $150 so IMO a great buy. I think im going to actually pick one up to run on my AR,PS90,GSG, and even my Saiga's..... It will prolly be a month or so, but will try to remember to post range reports of it, when i get one.

Anyone have pics of the quadrail mounted WITHOUT the top portion, running it as the tri rail.
