  1. This was the Fall semester in high school. It was nothing to show up in hunting gear and/or with game in the back of your rig. Not sure if that is still the case anymore in South Dakota. OP's story is fuct.
  2. Rubio will not live down 'slurpgate', or whatever the left dubbed his rebuttal speech. Unfortunately, the majority of the country view Paul and Cruz as too radical. As much as you guys don't want to hear it, the right will not win with "tea party" candidates.
  3. I have not been impressed with any of the top canditates in recent times. If the Right can't come up with anyone better than McCain/Palin and Romney/Ryan they will certainly loose. Most of those that I would like to see in office are not electable. The good news is that in my state the left fucked up hard by moving Baucus to the Ambassador to China and then propping up John Walsh as the next in line. Walsh was forced to pull out due to plagiarizing his Master thesis. Then, they threw in some crazy lady that doesn't stand a chance. This will move that seat from a democrat asshat that has
  4. Raidersfan, PM's sent. Wish I needed a third S12 SBS. :-)
  5. Went for a more original look.
  6. http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/national-firearms-act-firearms.html#alternate-storage Q: If an individual is changing his or her State of residence and the individual’s application to transport the NFA firearm cannot be approved because of a prohibition in the new State, what options does a lawful possessor have? NFA firearms may be left in a safe deposit box in his or her former State of residence. Also, the firearm could be left or stored in the former State of residence at the house of a friend or relative in a locked room or container to which only the registered owner has a key. The
  7. Of all my magwell guns my 030 has the tightest magwell (front to back). It took me about two minutes with a small file to open up the magwell enough for the CSspecs V12 mags to work. This is with a JTE extended mag latch. On MY guns no other work was required. Did the magwell adjustment on the 030 cause the saiga 12 mags ( aka 'police mags' ) to be a little loose after the adjustment? No more loose than the 040 or V12 guns. One of my V12s had a very wide magwell opening. It hasn't caused me any issues but its to the point were I might try filling the front of it with a smear of JB weld to s

  9. Fitting the rear lug or other mods? I tried to insert them into a 030 with JTE extended latch and it wouldn't go. I was rushed to get out the door. I'll play with them more tomorrow but I am thinking one or two strokes with a file and to the lug and it will go in that gun.
  10. Mine arrived today. Didn't have a lot of time to play. I ran two mags through a V12 and a 040 as fast as I could with zero issues. No fitting required on these two that are equipped with JTE extended latches. Huge THANK YOU to CCSpecs for bringing these to market.
  11. Calm down. Getting your gun up to 922® compliant is not hard. You can use any magazine designed for the 030 or V12 magwells. You just need to fit them to your gun. That can be accomplished one of two ways. You can either leave your long latch in and file your mags or file your latch and not mess with mags with the thicker rear lug (ie. V12 mags). I would argue that you should leave your original mag catch alone and then fit the mags to your gun. The only thing you've missed the boat on were inexpensive factory magwell mags. I would suggest you hold out until CSSpecs gets the
  12. Just use a small screwdriver to get under the front part (rounded portion) on each side then pry them off.
  13. Pop the feed lips off to avoid hitting them with a file.
  14. I swapped all my catches to JTE and modified the mags. This allowed me to used the factory 030 mags in all my guns without having any vertical slop. Modifying the catches to the shorter Molot catch would not have alleviated this. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
  15. 20 minutes of sales and only 44/400 remain. Nice!
  16. File the mags themselves or file the top of the mag latch. Which is better is debatable.
  17. Lol! I had forgotten about this thread but say my name as the author. Gave me a good laugh, again.
  18. What ever you do, don't subscribe to their emails. You'll end up with multiple AR's. And any of your remaining money will funnel their way on ammo deals.
  19. Rob, We were up on the Seepay fire out of Perma. If you can get permission to hunt on CS&KT lands you'd have a freezer full.
  20. No, not really. Last year I bought a PWS MK116 and a Sig 516. This year I purchased a Beretta ARX100 and my Galil receivers just came in from cncwarrior. Once the paperwork is back, I'll build a R5 clone and a Micro Galil clone. I also have a DDLES small frame Glock AR lower approved that I need to collect parts for and build up. All of this would have happened despite any chickenshit political games.
  21. During the last great panic it didn't matter who did the conversion, or if the FCG was even moved, as long as it looked "tactical" it would sell for top dollar. Folks were writing in the ad that moving the FCG (to its original/intended location) was somehow making the gun less desirable. As long as you could bolt as many rails as possible on it and throw in some high capacity mags or drums (the shittier the better) it would sell for more money than a simple but professionally converted S12. It was sickening to watch.
