ok let me start by saying I am no stranger to saiga conversions. have done atleast 6 now...love it. I have threaded the barrel on a few of em. Threaded my barrel for 17x1 long before dinzag or CNCwarrior had the tools to turn the diameter down. want to fit my 308 with some form of AR10 muzzle attachment. how much of the barrel(length wise) should I turn down to 5/8 and then thread it?

INDY...I climb and cut down trees for a living. STIHL is the onyl way to go just stick to the even number saws...they are pro grade. get a STIHL 440 and you wont regret it. if thats to much bump down to a stihl 361...great saws

well just for shits and giggles i wanted to see if another mag broke so locked each one in and dropped the gun from about 5ft. made sure all the weight hit right on the floor plate. house has hardwood floors. did each mag 2 times none broke. surprised me

still have not heard anything back from uinta. but I got them working a 100%. I measured the the gap between feed lip on the factory mags and compared my uintas mags...they were way more narrow. so the dremel with a 220 grit sanding disc came out. now my mags work. still buying csspec mags from now on. these uintas mags are strictly range mags IMO.

dude I dont know theyre brand new but my rifle dont like em...hell I bought the 3 for 89 and then spent 34 on the other. hopefully they email me back and try and make this right. still want to go to csspecs mag now since one of these broke. Never had a single problem out of my SGMs

not a single one of mine function guess I will be going back to SGM's or be buying some CSSpecs mags. any one want 4 mags?

I just sent them an email also. Yesterday at the range I had one mag break in the exact same spot. It broke while I was try to pull the mag out and clear jam...front lug just snapped right. All 5 of the uintas mags I have cause the rifle to jam every round yesterday. Switched back to the factory 8 rounders...ran like a sewing machine again. they will not get anymore money from me. All 5 of mine are unreliable junk.

well new ones at saigastock.com are 25. so hopefully less than that
