Need this to go...price drop in effect. If you happen to be in the Green Mountain State, I will do FTF. -
Hi all, been a long time...unfortunately circumstances are such that I need to let this one go: Converted Saiga .223 16" (purchased new by me in 2008, converted in 2009, hasn't been fired since 2010) DPH Arms Over-Sight Phantom Flash Hider Tapco G2 Trigger Tapco Galil Foregrip Tapco Adjustable M4 stock and SAW grip Mojo Micro Click rear ghost ring sight (best iron sight option for the AK IMO) CQB Sling with Uncle Mike's swivels Surefire 30-round magazines (qty 3) The gun probably has about 500 rounds through it, maybe 200-300 since the conversion, sweet shooter, probably the mos

Thanks for the input guys. The stock Saiga sights leave much to be desired. It might be worth the investment, even if it takes a little tinkering to get exactly what I want. Nail polish is a good idea. I also though about etching the factory sights, applying white paint in the etch, then a coat or two of commercial glow paint in the etch. Might be a nice evening project.

I recommend the front sight only. The rear sights are too close to the eyes, are too bright, and overwhelm the front one. Interesting! Thanks for mentioning that. Are they a tritium vial based sight? One could always dampen down the brightness of the rear sight with a ND filter.

I think I have everything minus the pins and the bolt hold open stuff. If interested shoot me a PM and I'll root through my parts tonight.

Practice. A lighter trigger pull will help, but honestly nothing is better than practicing. I haven't tried mine at anything other than beer cans/cinder blocks at 25-30 yards, but I had no problem popping cans with the old trigger setup. I'm looking forward to trying my fully converted .223 out soon.

Will they work with the Saiga or better yet has anyone tired them on the Saiga? Everything looks the same except maybe the range graduations. These look like a reasonable solution to improve the AK sights. http://www.meprolight.com/default.asp?cati...D-BF5E66505CD4}

i'll buy it from ya. To be clear this is the non-conversion collapsible to be used with the non converted FCG correct? If you have the center sling mount that'd be great! Where to paypal? Hey! Yes, this is the stock/grip setup for non-converted guns with the factory FCG. I found the center sling mount in my stash of parts, so I can ship the whole she-bang to you on Monday, USPS Priority. I'll PM you my email for Paypal. Cheers, Bill

Well, I've decided to fully convert. So, I'd be willing to trade my TAPCO Intrafuse T6 Saiga stock/grip and installation hardware for a standard AK TAPCO collapsible stock and pistol grip/nut. My stock/grip were installed, only used at the range once, then it just sat in storage. I will include all the installation hardware, butt pad, and sling swivel ( it think I still have the center sling mount too) I'd also be willing to part with it, $40 shipped. PayPal accepted. Cheers, Bill

I purchased one around Xmas. Paid $420 at Gilbert's Guns (only place I could find with .223's in stock). All said and done I got it shipped and FFL'd for just under $500. Not cheap, but certainly not bad. Supply and demand is going to continue to drive prices up for the time being. If you can pick one up locally for that price I would do it. It's a very good gun.
