  1. Thanks. Shoots fine. You grip it like you would a traditional stock rifle with no PG. But then again its just a .223 so not that hard to hold onto the gun recoil wise.
  2. LOL No not really. Its just there to complete the look. Notice how I don't have a muzzle device at the end of the barrel.
  3. Well my previous post image got deleted so I'll post it again. Had to re-up the image in my gallery.

  7. Still looking for one, please PM me if you have one available to sell.
  8. I'm looking for a Gen 1 Dog Leg from Texas Weapons Systems. If you upgraded your Gen 1 for a Gen 2, I would be interested in picking up your used Gen 1 rail. Send your offer in private message to me. Thanks.
  9. I have a Leapers 1-4x28 Accushot. Works great and has been solid for me for two years now.
  10. How does this rail compare with the UTG rail? Are they both the same height or is the new one lower? http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-1075/AK47-Saiga-Scope-Mount/Detail Would help if you can provide a photo comparing them side by side.
  11. This is what happens when people get cheap and just get a generic G2 trigger and expect it to work. Spend a few extra bucks and get a properly modified G2 for the S308 like the ones from Dinzag which are completely "drop-in" and you'll save yourself all the headaches. Another thing also check to see if the screw on the trigger guard is not protruding too far into the receiver because it will interfere with the hammer and prevent it from locking back all the way.
  12. because a 5 round mag and pistol grip on shotties are sporting. hopefully saiga's will be able to be imported with grips attached after the atf study is finished. i think the akdal is an interesting design. i understand why a lot of it had to be changed from a regular AR sizing. a 223 to a 12g. yeah, thats a bit of a size difference. probably why so much is not compatible. are the mags metal? From the looks of this pic, yes. You need different mags for 3in and 2-3/4in shells?
  13. A mag fed shotgun for the AR guys. This just about blows the lid off all the myths about the Saiga being banned and declared as a DD by the ATF. I doubt RAA would get into business on a new gun that will be banned. So this is good news for everyone. Hopefully this will spawn greater interest in mag fed shotguns such that other manufacturers will jump in the game.
  14. We're missing something here. Saigas are imported into the U.S. in "sporting" configuration. That shotgun in "AR" clothing is NOT. I doubt it would be imported unless it gets fitted with U.S. components to comply with 922r. If so, it would be like an Arsenal AK and will be priced like one.
  15. He doesn't have a #43 but perhaps you can use a different screw. http://www.dinzagarms.com/tools/drill.html
  16. McUzi is WRONG! (hence probably why hs is banned) Total FUD! Many happy Kalifornians have S12's. All that is needed is a magazine lock. Same as the bullet button is for the ARs in Kommiefornia.
  17. There use to be a thread in the forum noting about the distinct differences between the FCG (Fire Control Group) for the .308 and all the rest of the Saiga rifles. However, I couldn't find it. Anyways, the trigger group for the .308 is unique and needs to be treated as such. If you use a generic trigger like the one from CSS, you leave yourself potential for problems. I converted my .308 with a Dinzag trigger and it came built ready to install including a proper sized washer to fill the space issue on the .308 receiver. The conversion was easy and it worked great since without any probl
  18. For $170 you can buy this bolt-on brake. http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-371/SGM-Tactical-Saiga-308/Detail And that price includes the brake.
  19. The UTG sidemount works great on my S308.
  20. I've done two conversions with Dinzag's parts. Both of them with hitch pins. No failures so far. The oldest which is my S12 has gone on 2 years now and it hasn't failed me at all. Even if it ever does, its just a quick trip to the hardware store for about $0.50.
  21. Its Vigo the Carpathian. I guess you never saw Ghostbusters 2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostbusters_II
  22. Monsterman Grip Checkout the other pic of the actual rifle.
