Has anyone heard from Mike lately? Looks like he hasnt logged on here since 4/4/10. Since we are approaching the end of the month an update would be nice...

I know to use setting 1 for magnum and other hot loads, and setting 2 for birdshot if it won't cycle under setting 1. Just wondering if my S12 is normal or an oddball, and maybe my settings are reversed? OK, if I screw my gas plug all the way in until it bottoms out it is about a 1/4 turn from reaching the #1 detent setting. As I unscrew it (counter clockwise) i hit the number 2 spot first. I then have to unscrew another turn to reach the number 1 spot. Is this normal or is my #2 really my #1? And which #2 should I use for birdshot, the one before or after the #1 setting? By the time I pay shipping and transfer fee's there is no way I will be under $600 for an unfired saiga 12 and 3 extra mags.

Was in the market for a new Saiga 12 and found this. Guy wants $700 for everything in the picture, in unfired condition. What do you think, is it worth it? Would end up selling the collapsible stock after I do the conversion, any idea what it would be worth?

I have a .308 FAL up for sale. It is built on a Century "widows peak" receiver and comes with 2 mags. 1 mag feeds flawlessly, the other causes an occasional failure to feed. I am asking $650 or would like to trade for a Saiga 12. Any questions let me know.
