It did to Australian cops who found this steering wheel lock while searching 18-year-old Chad Hasting's car after they pulled him over. They called in backup and arrested him for possessing a gun.

Two more cops arrived in an unmarked car, and moments later, Chad Hastings was freed. According to Hastings, the arresting officer muttered, "Get a new steering wheel lock, it looks like a bloody gun," and told him he was a "a lucky boy," since "any other cop would have had you at gunpoint."

Is that the full auto model?

  2. well, i dont think we're a country of Nazi's. so no, i don't think that applies.

Not yet but not that far away either. JMHO.

And what are you doing to prevent that from happening other than bitching about it? There is a lot of people who give their lives to protect this country. There are also a lot of people who fight battles everyday to keep this country great dispite the constant bombardment of naysaying assholes. For you to even jokingly compare this country to the nazi's makes me sick. Maybe you should go back to canada.

I already did two tours in Viet Nam as a fucking Marine Corps Scout Sniper. So fuck youyou pathetic cocksucker. If you aren't talking to me sorry.

  3. Okay folks here's the deal with Cadiz Gun Works and Warranty work. I got my gun back in a very timely manner(3 weeks total) and it works great! It feeds great and ejects wonderful. It even cycles my wimpy Skeet reloads. That's a big plus for my money. One other thing, the work, and shipping didn't cost me one dime, it was all taken care of! That's customer service. Plus I didn't have to go anywhere to ship it. CGW emailed me a pickup tag and UPS fetched it. If you can wait just a little while to have it fixed and fixed right I suggest you take advantage of the Warranty provided by RACC and send it to CGW. Plus, I still have warranty left for using this FREE service!!! No, I am NOT related nor do I know anyone at CGW I am just a very pleased customer.

    Sorry,

Hit the wrong button. I have a two hole port. One is partially covered. Should I send it back to RACC to get a 3 hole? If so, what are the procedures to do that? Will they send a new gun? Will I have to still get the modification you just did if they send a 3 hole?

Thanks for your help! I am very frustrated with my saiga now. It has an FTE on every round in both 1 and 2 positions. Just looking to get it fix with as less pain as possible.

It's really simple. Give CGW a call and they will email you a paid sticker for UPS. They will pick it up and it will come back to you paid. Will cost you nada and you get to keep your warranty. These other fixes are probably fine but it will void the warranty. CGW # 740-942-3175

State Department Floating Ammo Import Ban

It looks like those who said the Obama Administration would strike while the iron is hot may have been correct, and the Administration may be doing it in a way that does not require them to even get a vote in Congress. In this morning's edition of the Shooting Wire, Jim Shepherd writes that Canadian officials have it on "good authority" our State Department may be on the verge of cutting off all imports of certain calibers of ammunition.

Ammos listed for this rumored ban include the .50BMG, 7.62x39mm Soviet, 7.62x51mm NATO, .308 Winchester , 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. Additionally, we're hearing that an expansion of this proposed ban might be broadened to include the 6.8mm SPC, 9mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, and ..45 ACP- among others.

    > In other words, State Department officials may be floating a trial balloon to see if there are howls of protest, or whimpers of compliance. Canadian elected officials who have directed this information to me say the move seems to be motivated by "emboldened" anti-gun officials who think they have a kindred spirit in President Obama.

Shepherd continues that there may also be a plan to ban exports on certain firearms to Canada from the US, resulting in the State Department hammering gun manufacturers, distributors and exporters in the United States while simultaneously making firearms -and ammunition - ownership and acquisition more difficult for Canadians.

    > Many in the pro-rights community have said since the election that Obama could circumvent Congress by using regulations in his various cabinet departments to attack gun owners. It appears that it may have already begun.

  5. for the best accuracy - rifled slugs through a smoothbore barrel with an improved cylinder choke, and sobot slugs through a rifled barrel or a smoothbore barrel with a rifled choke tube installed. This is assuming that you are shooting at something that is some distance away - if you a close enough it doesn't matter - either one will knock the crap out of anything it hits! Now if you decide to mix slugs, and buckshot - you would be better of with a smoothbore, as the rifleing will make a poor patern due to the centrifical force scattering the shot.

My S12 shoots Estate Rifeled slugs accurate out to 200 yds.

  6. Jangles, I thought you were looking for a paradox choke just a little over a month ago ( http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=34349 ). Obviously you found one, and I was just curious as to why you now want to sell it off after you just got it?

I shot my S12 using rifeled Estate slugs and found it to be quite accurate to 200 yds. The Paradox is for Sabot slugs and I already bought 500 of the Estates. I can't see shooting more than what I already have so up for sale goes the new Paradox.
