  1. Hi everyone! I have for sale a NIB CZ-USA CZ-83. It is blue with Nite Sites. Also it is in the special order (rare) 9x18 makarov calibre instead of the more common .380. It comes with 2 CZ Commericail Hi-Cap mags and 4 Czech Military Hi-caps (all 12 round). Also there is a Backwoods IWB Leather Holster. I don't have access to a digital camera. But if you check CZ-USA.COM you can see pictures of the .380 CZ-83. Which is exactly the same pistol except for chambering. I'm asking $360.00 total which includes shipping to your FFL. E-mail me if you are interested. Thanks, Jon e-mail= JDA9

  4. NRAJoe~~ You did real good! S.O.G was the main distributor for the Polish Toks and they have been sold out for a year now. Here in N.C the Polish toks are going for $200.00-$300.00. And the Russian are not very far behind. Now~get a Polish P64 while you can and it will finish the collection. They are sweet little pistols ( trigger pull actually lightens up after a while) and they are Cirlcle 11 (Radom) also. Take Care~~~Jon

  13. Agent~ thats Sportsmansguide.com with a N I can shoot but obviously not type!
  14. Aent~ Here are some sources for you: Accesories~Grips / Holsters Magazines etc.~Makarov.Com Ammunition~ -Aimsurplus.Com -Sportsmasguide.Com (my usual source) -Ammunitionstore.Com -Local Gunstores (can order if needed) -Gunshows In my Makarov and in my CZ-83 (9x18) I carry either Hornady XTP or Magsafe for defense (prefer the hornady) and for ball my Makarov likes Wolf 109 grain FMJ, but the Winchester FMJ is good but a little pricey. Good luck and let us know what you decide~~JDA1
  15. Agent~ For what your looking for, and considering that you are new to firearms I would recommend the Makarov. Look for the Bulgarian Models they are the best buy right now (the polish isn't a Makarov Pistol it is a P64 slightly smaller with a terrible trigger pull but it is in 9x18 Calibre). The reason I would recommend the Makarov are as follows: ~ Readily Available Accesories ( grips etc.) =Makarov.Com ~ Readily Available Surplus Ammunition =Wolf / Surplus Etc. ~ Readily Available Domestic Ammunition =Honrnady / Winchester / Magsafe ~ Defensive Rounds Available = Hornady XTP /
  16. I would not recommend a .22 for self defense. EVER! A year ago while in my back yard doing a little casual plinking one of my neighbors dogs (a Chow mix) came after me. Eight out of Ten shots from my Firestorm .22 were solid hits (one even went into his muzzle) but he still got a good size peice of me (19 stiches). He was stopped by my 12 year old with a shovel. By the way the dog only weighed 57 pounds, so uhhh you do the math! Keep Shooting!
  17. NC SHOOTER~~ Which "brutal and repressive regime" are you refering to? I know that our country has some problems but compared to other places those are some strong words. Here is my story~~~ I was born in 1969 in Salisbury Rhodesia, in 1982 my entire (and I do mean entire) family fled to the Republic Of South Africa. Less my oldest brother who died fighting the communists in the Army. In 1987 I went into the South African Defense Forces as an infrantryman in the Capetown Rifles. Where I served in Southwest Africa (Namibia) fighting Communist Terrorists and "real brutal and repress
  18. I'm beginning to be sorry for defending him, I don't even have the time to read that last post. Keep Shooting!
  19. To make a post on the subject, the one word of advice I will give is no matter what your preferences in weapons. Buy them, and buy them now. It is right to worry about Saigas being made D>D's, but worrying won't stop it from happening. Just as worrying won't stop an Assualt Weapons Ban again somewhere down the line. I know that I'm being a pessimist. But it's what I've learned in life. Being as the U.S.A is now my third home and my last hope. I feel blessed to live in a country where I can own firearms, and it my intention to acquire the fireams I want now rather then later. You see
  20. Though I've been reading the forum for quite a while now I only recently registered. So maybe I haven't earned a right to get in on the fun. LOL! I just think that the disagreements and arguing on line is not the point of this Forum. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion, and the freedom to express it. But as Gun owners I believe that we have more to worry about. We need to support each other and even encourage if necessary. I'm not on a soap box, at least I'm not trying to be. But give it a break Guys, in the end the only people Gun owners can rely on is fellow Gun Owner
  21. Hey Guys, I'm no expert (just a wanna be LOL) but the 16 .308 is louder then even a 30-06 simply because of the barrell length. With that short tube you have some of the powder charge left as it exits the barrell increasing the noise and the muzzle flash. That's the trade off with shorties on cartidges designed around the longer tubes. But ain't it just great the way everyone turns and looks. Another good one to get their attention is a Tokarev or CZ-52 in 7.62x25> Keep the Peace
