  1. hey Klassy glad to see you got a distributor to sell your work! Great Job! I'll be getting a set soon thanks
  2. Look up AK bullet buttons on the calguns google search tab. IMHO don't get the raddlock BB. You need to drill the rivet out to replace the mag catch. The tool that comes with that BB is kind of difficult to release the mag. Look up jumbopanda or solar tactical bullet buttons. Those BB require no modification to your rifle. http://www.solartactical.com/product.sc?productId=24&categoryId=1
  3. +1 for better lighting, I can't see your work
  4. Great Job NothernBornRebel! +1 for conversion of the year
  5. Yes thank you for making it easier to find information on this subject. I'm considering trying this project. I've been looking for parts to turn my tacticool saiga back to a genuine AK74 look alike. I also got a NDS-3 lower for the tacticool AK furniture i already have.
  6. I purchased one of these, installation was quick and easy. The only issue that i've read about is that some of the FH sits off center when installed. I believe Scott at DPH has corrected the problem by placing fillers in the retaining clip. Great people at DPH and a great product overall.
  7. not sure about the photoshop part, there another pic with the steyr on display and the saiga laying down next to it, and the comments added by saiganoobie are hilarious!
  8. I've been looking around too for the same thing and came across this - http://www.makosecurity.com/Merchant2/merc...egory_Code=_FAB
  9. Great setup! Was the BP-02 modification hard to do?
  10. Is the FF2 the bulgarian fastfire or something else? On the purchase page theres 4 types. http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=134
  11. Thanks DD for your post. I appreciate postive and negative feedback. But It doesnt seem clear to me yet if the Doctor MRD is worth the extra money spent? Your experience is with the burris FF. I know my other option for having a cowitness optic is the ultimak/aimpoint setup. But with my financial situation I dont think I can afford that
  12. My problem is that I already purchased a dph saiga tri rail, and thats not compatible with the ultimak gas tube. I want to be able to co-witness and so far everything ive read about the FF is good. Yes burris is known to fail but I havent really heard anything about the doctor standard which is why im asking. I guess all the more reason to save money with FF so I can buy Saiga 308
  13. Thanks for posting this! I have my guide from dinzag and was worried something like this would happen. My friend and I were looking to use a drill press first then tap. Did you use a hand drill or press? I did the converstion to the FCG and know that russian steel is no joke.
