  1. Sorry, I hunted all over for the forum rules and haven't found them. Maybe right in front of me but i haven't had any luck.
  2. <<PLEASE BECOME A CONTRIBUTOR PRIOR TO FISHING FOR PRICES OR SELLS ATTEMPT>> Respectfully, Gunny New River
  3. Surprised that this one was overlooked. http://www.bonesteelarms.com/AK-Saiga-folding-stock-hinge-with-threaded-AR-15-stock-interface-akfsar.htm
  4. 5.45 ak pistols have been around for a few years, I almost bought one in 2009. I remember it being out of Az. It had plastic furniture on it. Not as prevalent as the dracos but they've been around. 5.45 short barrelled uppers for ar's are for sale at Aim Surplus and other places. Robarms has a 5.45 ar style pistol for sale right on their website. So I'm not sure how this JBI Armory is drawing all the hate on this.
  5. I have the skin of a rhino, but definitely not the political inclinations.
  6. and the thread really was over, I view it only as a lot of bloviating and talking down to me which really wasn't needed. So much talk of "skilled craftsmen" as if that negates any need for customer service or a simple answer to an email. We're not talking about demanding that Michelangelo finish the Sistine Chapel ceiling in 3 days, we're talking about a simple email asking as to why the charge to my card had been removed, and if there was any problem with the order of a simple folding stock adaptor. An email which never was answered by the way, my problem was solved when I got an automate
  7. Thanks to juggernaut and fatty alcohol for the reasonable answers to my reasonable question. As to the rest, after I posted and the thread really was over, I view it only as a lot of bloviating and talking down to me which really wasn't needed. 8. I just got a shipping notice so I guess it's all good.
  9. Are they a trustworthy viable company? I ordered a folding stock adaptor for my saiga 12 from them a little over a week ago. First there was a temp charge on my credit card. Then it later disappeared. So I emailed the company yesterday and have not received a response.
  10. Those are not rivet holes, they are axis pin holes. For the basic conversion specials I do, I use #8-32 Oval Head Allen Screws backed with nuts on the inside to give it a industrial look. I weld up the higher end Saigas. Jack Well, ok, apparently I used some wrong terminology somehow so I'll try and rephrase: There were some holes and I put plastic plugs in those holes...
  11. I used the hole plugs provided in the kit I bought from Carolina Shooters Supply.

    Mags

I got a saiga 12 in on trade a year or 2 ago. Never shot it. Did the conversion yesterday. Went to test fire it today with 2 3/4" buck. Locked the mag in, pulled on it to make sure it was secure.10 round agp mag filled with 10. Released the bolt to chamber a shell, and fired. Mag flew out of gun, shells went everywhere. No shell was chambered after the shot. The mag has a big hunk out of the top front of it that wasn't there before. It was the only mag I got ith the gun, now I absolutely need to buy some. What are the best ones to get? Anyone have problems with the agp mags such as
  13. Nothing special, but I finally got around to converting the saiga I took in on trade a year or 2 ago.
  14. I just took a saiga 12 19" in on trade and am going to convert it. A quadrail so I can mount an eotech, move the trigger group, and so on. I have a saiga 7.62x39 I converted. I'm hunting for a good m4 style collapsible folding stock. I've searched CarolinaShooters supply and mississippi auto arms and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Wondering if someone could tell me what I'm missing. I've searched here and the rest of the internet until my eyes bleed. Thanks in advance.
