  1. My R and R Targets Saiga is set up much the same as Doug's. The B & P slugs are unreal when it comes to accuracy. I have got 5 shot groups mono-poding off the mag at 100 yards that pretty much touch. 13 pound spring and clean = no problems. In Phoenix now waiting to shoot the Superstition Mountain 3-gun this weekend. Dusty
  2. It's the nicest range in the Northwest and I've been to most. You forgot to mention that the gate is card activated, just slow down and swipe your card and like magic it opens. Call me 406-870-3435 we should get together and compare Saiga's. I have a shooting trailer with a plate rack on the back and lots of steel to shoot. Dusty
  3. Have you heard about the Montana Saiga shoot on June 19th?

  4. Don't forget Montana. By far the most free state in a supposed free county. Dusty
  5. Yeah, one of a kind...interesting that Mike of MGM also makes a "one of a kind design" Texas Star and was man enough to call the orgininal Texas Star designer, Terry, and talk over what was going on. Terry has been getting phone calls for years to fix those "damn fucked up no-working Stars" that turns out to be...well, not Terry's or Mikes Odd, that. Still, business is business. I figure folks spends their money and takes their chances, but everyone should know some facts up front with who (or what) they are dealing with Alex I agree with you Alex, everyone s
  6. Alex, glad you think it funny, hope to see you at a 3-gun match soon. Dusty
  7. I can only wish that I was an employee of R&R Targets, as Doug stated Robert is a one man show. I live in Missoula Montana and am a dead broke general contractor in construction having spent all of my extra money on my Saiga, and I don't regret it one bit. In my younger years I did aspire to be a pimp or strip bar owner but couldn't get it done and had to settle for construction. I lack any and all skills the one would need to machine or manufacture anything and the only machining I do is with a file or dremmel with a grinding disk attached to it and believe me it's crude. In the future I
  8. There might be one thing new under the sun. If you notice the mag well is I think the first true straight in mag well. It is achieved by removing all the hooks and what not on a surefire 12 round mag and machining a notch on the side much like an AR-15. The mag release is the lever you see in the photo when pushed the mag falls out and the new one snaps right in. Bob how well does your mag work and how many rounds does it hold? Were waiting on different and hopefully much better springs. We also have 16 rounders and my favorite 20 rounders. The 27 is a bit much but really fun on a stand and s

    rounder

Imagine what you could do with 27 rounds at your finger tip.
  10. My Saiga shoots flat. The hand guard and all other parts can be had from Robert Wright, R & R Targets 503-551-7283. The best part aside from being pounds lighter and a foot and a half shorter than the Rem 1100 I used for years is that it matches my open 3-gun AR. Stay tuned for 19 round Saiga stick mag soon to be released.
  11. Robert Wright of R&R Targets built this left hand Saiga and it runs great. [attachme nt=31410:DSC03229.JPG]
