you need a pistol grip nut/screw, a pistol grip (you did not mention one). You only need the retaining plate, or the wire, not both.

hmm, i going to have to say that a m38 or m39, not a m44. I like the look of the bolt carrier w/o blueing, just polished. So i want to do this on my saiga. After some searching i believe the gun is powder coated? What is the best method of taking this off, and is there any harm in using it as bare metal?
