  1. One small suggestion: I noticed other than the made in USA stamp there is nothing else to ID these mags. Your company name, website, S-12, 10 rd. or any other information for a stranger looking at a used mag at an auction or gun show could use if he wanted to know if this mag would fit his gun and hopefully benefit your future business by ordering a few more new ones if he likes them. Wouldn't have to be anything gaudy, could be fine print stamped on the floor plate.
  2. My two arrived yesterday. These things are beautifully engineered and built to last for generations. The Russian slab side AK mags of the Saiga-12 world! I have an early Saiga-12 and they fit like a glove with no filing needed. Zero side to side slop. Just enough forward and aft play to snap into place and release with ease. Plenty of spring compression left after the 10th round to insert on a closed bolt. Loaded them up with a variety of shells and hand cycled them through my Shotgun without a problem. Will make a range date if it ever stops raining.
  3. I would. New cars have a lot of impurities and deposits on the clear coat from factory, carrier ride, and dealer's lot that you don't want to just wax over. Shouldn't take long since it's new and after the waxing you will be amazed at how that black paint shines.
  4. Yep. Just takes practice. You need to compress the shells against the bolt carrier while locking the mag in place. With the bolt locked back it is just like an AK mag so practice it that way first.
  5. Yes, that's an RPK pouch. Designed to hold 40 rd AK mags but also the perfect size for 10rd Saiga mags. Your's is Romanian because of the front pocket. The Russians either have side pockets or none at all.
  6. Russian/Romanian RPK canvas pouches hold 4 10-round Saiga mags perfectly as if they were specifically designed for them.
  7. Amen. Its been 8+ years since the last ban sunsetted. If you haven't scrounged up what you needed by now who's fault is that? (exempted from my rant are the newbies just turning 18)
  8. Some of the comments do mention guns, mags, and ammo, lol. Muni bonds? Any rise in interest rates and bond valuation will go up in smoke. Siome cities in California already defaulted on their bonds also and that's just a start.
  9. Sure looks like a Saiga 12 with a 10 rounder now that I watch it closely. At first I thought SKS with a aftermarcket duckbill mag. Fu***! Ar, Handgun, and now a Saiga. A gunbanners wet dream.
  10. I agree with the others who would like a snail drum in 30 or more rounds but the same size as the MD20. Why not make use of that free space in the center by increasing the capacity?
  11. Has anyone ever rockwell tested Saiga steel? When I did my conversion I was destroying drill bits left and right.
  12. This is my method. Leaves that chrome bore shining like a mirror. Have some pliers handy to unscrew the brush and sections of rod when you are done because they will be tight.
