  1. Yah I was using that little wrench that they give you in the tool kit. Used it to turn the plug while i had a friend depress the plunger with a tiny pen that I had. He was pressing it all the way down and it wouldnt turn. Before I ever went shooting with the S12 I didn't have a hard time turning the plug. I removed it to do a check and clean before taking it out the first day. Never thought anything of it. Shot 50 slugs or so that first day. Then I brought it the second day and couldn't turn it. I didn't clean the glas plug after the slug trip. Haven't picked it up since that range tri
  2. Hey guys, This more than likely has been answered before, but I wanted to share my experience. I went to the range and this particular range only allows birdshot. So like a dummy I totally forgot about the gas setting, which was set for slugs. I fire the first shell and it doesn't eject. Like a tard I try it two more times before I realize I'm on the wrong setting. So I go get my tool and try and rotate the gas plug and it doesn't budge more than 1mm. I let it sit for 5 minutes and try again, still no luck. I ended up just shooting my 1911 the rest of the night because I had some frien
  3. I finally fixed the little fucker. Thanks to all of you guys for your help. The main thing is having that hammer spring tied up, otherwise it's a bitch and a half to get that front pin in.
  4. Agree that the BHO is great unless you have three hands or want to put the gun down to get the mag in. It's even worse over here in CA I have the bullet button to worry about.
  5. yah the springs are not tied up. They are resting in their position. That does make sense though. The thing thats annoying is that it was already in the friggin hole. It just wouldn't budge that last little bit argh. Haha I don't think anyone has had as much issue as me. Gonna give it a whirl again. haha
  6. Yah I am almost there. It's those damned pins that are stopping me now.
  7. Okay. So first off I have to give many thanks to Deussne, who sent me an improved BHO plate and spring. The new BHO from AAM is leagues beyond the stock one. So I have made a lot of progress, but still not done. I honestly spent 4 hours today trying to align the pins. I know I'm a dumbass. Anyway the pin for the trigger went in nice and easy. No big deal there. The hammer pin however has brought a whole new world of bitch made to my life. For some friggin reason the pin is almost flush with the safety side, but it stops. I tried wiggling the pin from the non-safty side while pushing,
  8. Thanks guys! You guys are great man. So much help from everyone. Another problem I am having is not having four hands LOL. One to get the light just right so I can see, one to hold the gun, one to hold the spring with tool, and one to suck my thumb to prevent crying. Haha
  9. I have been buying Winchester White box when I can find it at Walmart. Haven't used anything else in my Kimber 1911. And it was much cheaper than the blazer listed above and groups almost like match ammo.
  10. Hmmmm I only saw two screws on the top tang area. Didn't see any others. Then again I was working with low light as well. I'll give it another whirl again. I hope they sell dental picks at walgreens.
  11. Yah I know I can do it and was pretty close every time. Another thing that annoys me is they could have had the BHO tab at a slight upward angle facing the receiver. Argh..I basically just need the right tool. I can find a dental pick. Does anyone have a good way to remove the stock? I took out both screws and started to wiggle if off, but the bottom of the stock seems like it just doesn't want to leave the receiver. The top of it budges about 2mm.
  12. So I threaded the spring with the trigger pin which went nice and smooth and spent the last hour trying to hook that pos short leg of the BHO spring over the BHO tab. The design of that spring is the biggest piece of shit I have seen in my life. They could of made it longer, could have notched the BHO tab...it's just such a lazy design I'll just leave it at that. I couldnt get the junk ass stock off so i made my own dental pick out of a paperclip that had sharp ends. Tried to hook it from above, move the BHO into the slot and then pull up and forward to make it so the pick didnt slip off the s
  13. Arghhh...i'll try it again. I didn't get any instructions or diagrams with this gun and this is my first saiga so it's all learning by trying for me.
  14. Ughhh knew it sounded easier than it would be. I can't even knock out the trigger pin. Anyone got suggestions? It won't budge using a punch and a normal steel hammer. I don't have my rubber mallot on me.
