  1. Check kvar but I don't know there is enough material to do a rethread as I don't have a 4 piece to look at.
  2. 320 is a good price for a dimpled one. If I can land a chicken foot one, I'll stop buying them. Or so I say. Good score.
  3. Messiah I have lots of pics in my original thread if you haven't seen it yet.
  4. I'd buy them out at that price. The best I can do is the 250's plus shipping and transfer puts me at 300.

  6. Leo, just to clarify, I wasn't complaining about your prices at all. I was talking about someone else with questionable pricing practices and unconverted guns. Thanks for being another saiga vendor.
  7. I think they used a stock photo and not one of the actual gun being sold. Bastards! I had that happen before when I was looking for a dimpled Saiga .223. I made sure to check before I bid, and sure enough, it was a stock photo. The one they were actually selling didn't have the dimples... so beware. I bought the one shown. It has dimples but no Y stamp. Now if I could find both I could quite buying saigas The funny thing is last time I was at the range there was this father and son beside me with a new purchase. I was playing with my yugo underfolder build and notice
  8. I think they used a stock photo and not one of the actual gun being sold.
  9. Does it have the third "Y" stamp? It doesn't
  10. Thanks! Been looking for one of these! Too bad other sellers (ahem even members here) are trying to sell them for $500.

    8 Rounders ??

I love my 8rd'ers so much more than the 10's. But they cost me twice the price and I had to get someone in Finland to mail the parts in separate packages.
  12. In that vein, a yugo will make everything else look like crap even Russian issued rifles. So its really just an attempt to make a point.

    .223 brake?

Actually I put one of those Jtac's on mine and its like shooting a 22LR.
  14. Only milled rpk's are threaded. A lot were press pinned in stamped receivers. They the have buldged trunions as well like stamped yugos. You are right in that rpk's are not more accurate. They are simply designed for spray and pray.
  15. An SVD works more like a SKS than an AK. Its got a gas piston and an operating rod. Milled receiver, trigger housing, etc... Really I don't understand the Tigr hate. Its not a rich man's Saiga 308. A saiga 308 is PSL territory. A Tigr is just a PC SVD. Add the bells back to it and the whistles are all already there. Price wise, the market is $1600-2000 right now on Tigrs. $3000-3500 on NDM's.
  16. I'm in for at least one well and one release.
  17. Sorry to jump into the middle of this but you asked for help and then seem to indicate that nalioth didn't understand what you are asking. But you've built so many aks and fals before. I would think you would know how to do this is if you were so accomplished. There are three ways to do this. Two have been described here. Those two both require the trunion to be supported on basic bar stock in a press. Then you can push the barrel either at a slight angle from the side of the receiver or through the back with a long extension which would need to be clearenced around the center support. I'v
  18. Genocide, any possibility he would make a run of these? I'm sure lots of other people would like one.
  19. +1 Its my first goto for ammo prices and SPG coupons.

    Dimple tool?

Been off here for a while. Is anyone making a dimpling tool for the mag well dimples? I realize there's a bunch of new saigas on the market with them right now but I'd like to do the ones I already have too. Thanks
  21. I don't know, but is there a preban M16 mag? Cause if so, that conversion is already done with the available Galil AR adapters.
  22. As cheap as it is going to get 5.45 http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/p/...846bc0960286c63 http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/am...roducts_id/1399 $299 wasr2 + $130 1k bulg = $430 for a high cap 5.45 w/ 1000rds vs $250 saiga + high cap conversion 922r ($100 depending on what you do) + $200 1k wolf = $550 for a high cap 5.56 w/ 1000 rds As for availability, I own both since 223 is native BUT at 5.45 ammo prices its stacked so deep I'd wear out a barrel before I ran out of ammo.
