  1. Pretty much the same for the rear end stuff. The front handguard setup is totally different of course. I riveted my trigger guard w/o issue.
  2. Personally I'd: Saiga 308 $350 Saiga drag stock $90 8xPsop scope $150 Bipod $40 -------------------------------------- $630 And have a better rifle IMO than a romak.
  3. Welcome to the addiction
  4. Andrei, After two years, you still owe me a S12 front site block with muzzle break.
  5. You'd have to remove the barrel and then lathe. Or get one the the 17mm thread kits from Dinzag.
  6. $7.97 http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=293576 Just got a bunch, that's a really good deal. $10 off and 4-pay does me in everytime.
  7. Thank you, looks mine's a biggun.
  8. When you guys are measuring the barrel for threading (5/8 vs 17) are you measuring the part under the site or right at the crown? Mine tapers down quite a bit at the tip. Thanks DYI
  9. Yeah I saw it. Funny that Russia competes with itself! I wonder if they are going to even try to get it in the US. I didn't see any "sporting" versions.
  10. Nope. You'd have to modify a G2 which is harder on the 308 than the other saigas in the stock position.
  11. "pull the barrel" out of the receiver for the 30 minutes it takes to put the break on. That's what I "did".
  12. Uzi America mfg, Galil AR magazine adapter. Black finish. Our Price: $ 79.95
  13. Welcome Virginia! Good choice on the gun.

    .308 50rd Drum

What year? The suspensions stayed the same into the early 90's then change. There's a couple ways to do the later models. AA pretty much stopped making car parts but there's 2-3 other companies out there: http://users.bigpond.net.au/bybsubi/accessories.htm Let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.

Depends on how many mags you want to have and whether US parts is a concern. The cheapest option right now is to buy orlites or the AK74 12 pack from ORF, and 12 robarms followers
  18. PS you can watch the whole season online at CBS.com I missed yesterday and its not up there yet.
  19. Yes, search in the forums at gunsnet or akfiles in the WASR section. Some of those guys like to add dimples to the formerly single stack guns. Its basically a male and female side smashed in a press.
  20. Ok hold on just a minute. I already said that I am looking for a rilfe that can consistantly give me 1.5-2.0 MOA, pretty much like AR180B does according to the specs. (interstingly enough, AR180B according to the spec has same accuracy as standart AR15). I said that I DO NOT expect a sub MOA accuracy out of $300 rifle. In fact, if I wanted a target rifle, I would get a 22-250 bolt action and then jury rig an M14 mag for it. I just need to know WHAT I can expect from Saiga223 and HOW MUCH it will cost me to convert it into taking Galil mags that is it. Thank you For just Galil
