  1. Thanks for the information I will be home the new year and will keep getting things together on my end.
  2. I was just asking what would be a fair price for someone to charge me for doing this while I am overseas a few months?
  3. and bullet guide on new Saiga rifle? Interested to know. Tanks.
  4. That is what I thought he has his facts messed up. I told him they came off the same line as real guns just made to export to US.
  5. to make their rifles and first I had heard of it but guy is firm and said he had a source first I have heard of this and I think they are complete Russian except for the US conversion parts. Let me know if I am right.
  6. I got a larger barrel also and ordered the kit from Dinzag to thread my barrel it is the same size as the HK thread different but you have to go with the diameter of the barrel to fit the FH. He has a scale on his site to tell which dies to use on barrel diameter. Good kit worked well still on the rifle. He had a FH for that thread pitch in stock and it works great. Good luck.
  7. How have you been off the site for a while and hope you are doing well. Have you come up with a riser for the ace stocks yet? Thinking about shorting the barrel and adding permanent flash hider what all is involved? What do you all think about cutting ak barrel and make it a legal 16" with a flash hider? How hard to move the front sight back?
  8. What kind of stock riser do you have installed? Awesome shotgun I am sure you will miss it. Thanks.
  9. I am glad I got my MSA and that Cobra762 lives close by. We had a good time milling it out and then he finished it off with a dremel in a hard to reach areas up front. Fits tight and we burned 60 rounds in a Pmag and a GI mag and a Bulgarian circle 10 by just pulling the adapter out and inserting regular mag and no problems at all. Glad to just have pmags to feed my rifles with now and don't have to keep my galil orlites which I am selling to pay for the work and the adapter. Like being able to put a 20 rd mag in there now just working on a fix for my ACE stock so I can use my scope. Grea
  10. Thanks Cobra you know exactly what I am talking about when we test fired my rifle at your house the scope is way to high to get a good cheek weld. I have seen some on another site about ak's in the picture thread section looked like a cheek rest clamped on with a comfortable pad on it.
  11. I have a psop 4 x scope for my 223 and need to find a way to make a cheekrest for the folding ace stock on it I have and not have to hold my head at a bad angle. Pictures and descriptions would be great the scope is good just need to get a solid cheek weld for the scope and will be great. Thanks.
  12. I bought q MSA AR maq adapter for my Saiga in 223 and went to Cobra 76 two house and we worked on it to mill it and finish with the dremel touch up. Nice rock solid fit and function tested out back and 60 rounds no FTF or FTE. I took out the adapter and fired some rounds with his circle 10 mag and it fed flawless again. Now I have AR mags that fit my Sig 556, LMT, and Saiga. Very happy with the results and glad I took the time and money to get the conversion done. Cobra 76 two is very professional and knows the AK platform in and out. Anyone in the Raleigh area that needs AK work done he
  13. 62 grain is bigger and you know better cause army went in with nato and they decided to use the 62 grain and it shoots decent. The jacket is usually to thick on the bullet for it to mushroom just makes a nice splat. YMMV.
  14. What size roll pins does MSA use? If I need to replace one of them would be nice to know so I can buy them in advance. Hope I don't need them but who knows. Thanks.
  15. Good luck with that I want to use the iron factory sights but can not get them to go left enough the crapco sight tool wants to rip out of the plastic and I picked up a rail mount like you are talking about at the gunshow and was very heavy.
