  1. I own a Mossberg 500 12 gauge. Out of all the shotguns for trap, bird, or rabbit hunting it wins hands down for reliability, functionality, and comfort. I learned to shoot on a Remmington 870, but bought a 500 because it feel good in my hands, and I am the most accurate with the 500.
  2. Kimber .45, it looked awesome, but didn't find out to later that it has a 1500 round break in period. It malfunction every magazine. I tried different ammo, and made sure I was doing everything correctly. I bought a Springfield xd9mm, it has no break in period and shoots 3" groups, freehand, at 15 yards and I spent half the money, and the other half on ammo and mags.
  3. Hopefully, when mine comes back from repair for the second time, it will fire more than 5 rounds without a malf. It's never done that before. But hey, I'm hopeful. This may help with your malfunctions, try CCI Blazer Brass they are loaded a bit hot. My Bersa loves them the best, even though it never malfunction on any kind of ammo.
  4. I bought a Bersa Thunder CC in .380acp, and I am glad that I did. I can shoot sub 4" groups at 10 yards and never had any type of malfunction. I was sceptical at first because Bersa isn't well known in the USA, but I spend $310 and would say its my best conceal carry pistol that I own, my other being a S&W 5 round .38 special. I wonder if the ones coming out from Colorado Gun Works are remanufactured and that is to blame because mine is imported from R.S.A in New Jersey. There are now 3 Bersa Thunder cc .380 in the family, and they all work flawlessly. I am sorry for your experi
  5. I have a STG-2000-c that I want to put a scope on and take off my red-dot. I am looking to spend less than $300.00, so what is the best option. I have a sid-rail mount with 2 picantinny rails. I am looking for a 2.5 or a 4 powered scope. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  6. This seams to be a half-story. The other half may provide justifiable evidence as to why the professor reported the student.
  7. I have always bought hollow point for my ak-47 variant, and I never had a problem with misfeeding. The hollow points are better for expansion when hitting an organic target than Full Metal Jackets.
  8. I have a stg-2000c that has a chrome-lined barrel and I was wondering if I need to lubricate the barrel, or just clean it with a bore-snake without lube? To lube, or not to lube, that is the question. You can tell I am new to weapons please don't make fun of me.
  9. Good Luck. I think you already have enough information from the other threaders. One of my last classes before I graduated from Rock Valley College, which I earned a Associates of Science, was Speech. I chose to do a speech about why our state (Illinois) should allow the concealment of firearms by law-abiding citizens. I got interrupted several times even though it was suppose to be a speech and not dialogue. It was a very liberal college, as most are, and I got a terrible grade even though my delivery met and exceeded the grading rubric. Tell them that the law is against an existing law
  10. I also have an stg-2000c that I bought last September 2009. I figured I better get one before Obama tries to make it harder. Anyways I bought mine at McSports for $529.00. It is a good rifle, but didn't like the sight radius. I guess it is about the same radius as most ak-47's. I got a side-rail mount and put a Bushnell Trophy red-dot 1x28mm Model #73-0134 that retails for about $115. This set up gives me the ability to shoot 4" groups at 100 yards, with a few errant shots that make it about 5 1/2" if you count them all. I haven't seen any stg's for the last three months, kinda coincides
  11. Well said. Start out small by having marches in the streets of bigger cities. Then the million gun owner march in DC. I like the part about the feudal system and how we have ties to it nowadays. This country should only be ran on sales tax and nothing further.
