  1. how would one do the trigger conversion?like taking out the fcg n stuff?i guess i could modify that thumbhole stock to fit.will any ak trigger fit in?thx for your info guys!
  2. hmm,i want to fit a thumbhole stock to my saiga 308 as well.does anyone know if this thumhole stock here http://www.buymilsurp.com/store/images/FPK...NFINISHED_S.JPG will fit the saiga?if not how would i make it fit. seems cheap enough,i'd rather get it instead of spending 50$ on the fiber force one.
  3. well i felt i got a decent deal when i got my saiga 308 16" at a gunshow.it was private sale 300 otd.was lookin all around for saiga 308's only saw .223 and 7.62x39 ones on tables.than my friend noticed one on a guys back with a for sale sign.and it was 308 one.so i jumped at it since it was the only 308 saiga i saw at that show.and i love the rifle, don't feel any bit of shame payin 300$ for it.they guy did say he fired maybe 50 rounds through it,but again it was the only one there in 308,and thats what i came there lookin for.
  4. now whats about making the mag holding 10 rounds?where do you cut?is it legaL
  5. here's a pic of me with my saiga, its just a 16" one with psop 4x scope.i got the battery so the crosshairs light up.
  6. here's me with my saiga with psop scope p.s. also how does that choat drag stock fit on the saiga?are there any modifications i have to do to make it fit my saiga?i like how it looks.
  7. nice riles guys!i was lookin at those other pics of who ever's saiga with the mountains in the backround.beautiful countryside!i just wish i could get out of flat terrible nj and go find some real nice hills. here's a group i made at just 50 yards with portiguese nato stuff.i hit 2 liter soda bottles at 300 and 200 yards after i sighted the scope in.took like 8 shots and than was sighted in.also at a different range i placed shotgun clays on the backstop bout 150 yards away and was hittin them.those aren't the easyiest to hit.they look really small at 150 yards.
  8. hmm i got my saiga 308 for 300$ even at a gunshow in PA.i saw 223. and 7.62x39 ones for around 229$i've not seen any saigas for sale here in the PR of nj.thing is i bought the rifle from a guy walkin round tryin to sell it,basicly a private deal.which i don't pay tax and backround check call fees.so far i've had no trouble what so ever with the rifle.i even got a psop 4 power range finding scope with illuminated recticle.got the lil battery and it lights up!shot a half dollar sized group at 50 yards with portiguese nato surplus and aussie nato stuff too.i don't recall gettin a lil cleaning kit
  9. neighbors?dude i shoot my airguns, out my window all the time.sometimes go on the roof.i don't care what my neighbors say,i got woods behind my house.matter of fact i cleaned my ak rifle out on the roof just for kicks hehe.was hoping the neighbors would see it and,and look at me wierd hehe.
  10. acually come to think of it guys, you can buy a 7.62x39 barrel for your thompson contender pistol.god i want one of those things so bad!
  11. well guys, the law goes like this.you can posess hp ammo 1) on your way to or from the range,2) on your way to or from the store where you bought it.i'm not sure what leo's carry, since i am just a citizen in NJ.but come to think of it is soft point ammunition good enough for for selfe defense?still nomatter what,if you want to carry in a lame state like this, you have to be a cop or a security person.the nazi judges won't issue usual citizens a carry permit.i would have to prove to them an acual life threatening need. god i need to get out of this state
  12. maybe i'll go get it from a diferent dealer.who knows maybe some dealers are biased of russian guns like ak's and saiga's n stuff.so you sayin i could legaly own a SAR1 rifle n stuff?i do want to get saiga rifles too.infact they are cheaper than the shotguns.your range sounds like its way up there.mostly it sounds like you hafta join and exspensive club to fire centerfires in NJ.by the way,i heard bout some big gun club up north.a friend of mine who cleans bathrooms says his bro has a gunclub up north jersey someplace.i'd love to go shoot with him sometime.he's cool, talks bout gun competition
  13. well the dealer i had the guns sent to said he talked to a friend of his thats a lawyer which knows the do's and don'ts of gun laws here.the lawyer said that people have got in trouble for having them beause in our NJ law we have our own retarded assault weapons ban.lists a buncha semi-auto versions of assault rifles also banning the m1 carbine which is ok with the federal ban.well the NJ ban says all kalashnikov firearms are banned.even when the saiga complies with the law.its a good think they haven't banned the sks.you sposedly can't own one with detachable magazine, just fixed mag types.i
  14. is there anyone that lives in NJ and has a saiga shotgun?i tryed to get one by was told that i can't own one and that ppl got in trouble for havin them so i got a mossberg500.i really wanted a saiga tho.any input would be apreciated.....
  15. was wondering, anyone here into mosin nagant bolt-action rifles?I am gonna get one soon, and I wonder how it is.Plenty of new non-corrosive ammo around for cheap. It would sure probly make a nice hunting rifle, its got some balls.
