Primer poppin' problem
Trailblazer replied to Gummerfan's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
You forgot NEVER SHOOT INDIAN AMMO! The guys at cetme-rifle.com are the best source of info there is period, just like this place being the best for Saigas. If your ammo was real cheap then you might want to make sure it isn't Indian. If your doing fine with Federal then there's something wrong with your surplus stuff. Good luck. -
Wish I had that one instead of my 308 carbine with the plastic stock. You did good!

FEEDBACK THREAD: THE GOOD,BAD,& UGLY
Trailblazer replied to dodgeturbointerceptor's topic in Feedback - THE GOOD, BAD, & UGLY
Got my Saiga 308 mags from FBMG today. Thanks, great doing business. Mike -
Got two from FBMG today and man they are nice. Keeping the Saiga for sure now. Edited to add; Thank you very much, I left good feedback.

I have the Taurus PT 99 and 92 in 9mm, both fine pistols. I read the reviews about the Taurus Millennium in .45 acp and it sounds like an outstanding carry gun. Mike

Something new for your mini 14
Trailblazer replied to Littlebigman's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
I must be old fashioned, don't like it at all. The first series of Mini 14s with the wood handguard were beautiful rifles and mine was pretty accurate too. I like em light and handy without all sorts of crap hanging off -
WOW: that's nice work! Muzzle brake for sure!

Rusty, I know you got a couple replacement valves but if you still have a problem you might want to check this out from Surplusrifle.com http://www.surplusrifle.com/reviews2006/yu...valve/index.asp I got lucky, mine shot great after I got every trace of cosmoline out of my firing pin and pistons.

I've had the Taurus 92 and 99 for over 10 years now, love them both. I don't recall ever having a problem with either and their quite accurate. The Taurus was made with Beretta machinery but with improved features like a decocking lever. Check this site out for a little history http://www.taurususa.com/newsreviews/HG2004_000.cfm

the 7.62 X 54R and the metal plate
Trailblazer replied to vjor's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
Now that's cool! I love shooting metal plates. -
Where did you order them from? I ordered two from http://www.fbmginc.com/magazines.htm a while ago and they said they were back ordered and they would contact me soon when they came in. Spare mags for my Coonan 357 are $185.00 apiece

LOOKEE WHAT I GOT, LALEELALEELALEE
Trailblazer replied to Roadkill45's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
I love CETMEs! Don't forget to check your bolt gap and give us a range report. My buddy has a MARS made in Spain around the 1960s and I have the CAI. -
Saiga 12 Barrel length.
Trailblazer replied to msaridar's topic in Saiga Weapons - General Discussion
Thanks BattleRifleG3 for mentioning the shotgun barrel length law in the US. Msaridar, if you live in the US you might want to read up on Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge. If you live in a country that doesn't restrict your shotgun barrel length then your project sounds like the ultimate backbackers friend -

Trailblazer replied to caned45's topic in Saiga .308
