kmoore makes a good point. Make sure to clean it well. . . .don't neglect disassmbling the bolt and firing pin to clean out all of the packing grease. Feed problems? I dunno.. . . . . .

Look closely. There is a small leaf type spring that locks the wheel. Lift the spring with the punch tool in your cleaning kit- - - you can get to it through the hole in the side of the sight rail. At this point you can turn the elevation adjustment wheel. Just think how fast your elevation setting would go to hell if the adjustment didn't lock! One, maybe two shots I'd guess. Russian engineers maybe to think some about good sights after all, no?

There is a leaf spring that locks the rail adjustment wheel. Directly behind the adjustment wheel you will see a small hole. Insert a stylus type tool (like the one included with your cleaning kit) and lift up. The rail adjustment wheel should turn freely. Ziff Davis Media recently published a doctored photo that is highly disrespectful of Russian soldiers specifically and all military veterans in general.
