  1. I have two, a 12 and a .308. Funny thing is I like the .308 so much I want more Saiga rifles. I like my 12 it functions well and offers a lot of fire power, but my .308 is a handy, reliable ass-kicker. I am planning on 5.45X39 next. My Ar's are getting neglected.
  2. I got 5 mags for 100. Great deal, no rusty springs and they work great.
  3. Anyone try the Mako Tactical Side Folding Stock? Looks cool, I know its not US made, but other than that it looks great for the money.
  4. Thank You for the test. I was waiting for the Brown Bear test. For the price it seems to work well for my S-308.
  5. Remington Sluggers are my preferred diet. Never had any problems and they are accurate.
  6. My cheapo Tapco stock chewed up my shoulder, but I had to shoot it seated with slugs, per the range. It left a nasty bruise after 100 rounds of slugs. I added a cheap UTG recoil pad and now I can shoot all day. I really think the pad disperses the forces over a broader area. Shoot target loads and it's a picnic, no problems with drum dumps.

  8. When do they add the dimethylpolysiloxane? Got to get the chemicals in there for the kids. Its no wonder why cancer is the number one killer for children under 14.
  9. Hope you get a clear report. I'm sure you will be fine, most times the polyps are benign. I've got a colonoscopy scheduled for Monday. Looks like the weekend will be the shit... Unfortunately this will make it number 7 for me. Maybe I can get the doctor to by me dinner. This is old hat for me I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 12 years ago. Luckily I sought out alternative care, diet modification and nutrition; the drugs they want you to stay on will kill you, not to mention they barley work.
  10. V-plug arrived today! It looks to be a well built piece, and it went in without any problems. I can't wait to give it a test. No more fumbling with a tool to change gas settings.
  11. Crazy story. My favorite Skynyrd song has to be Give Me Back My Bullets!
  12. Just ordered the MD plug. 20 and free shipping, can't go wrong. I just want to be able to turn the gas plug by hand and have the flexibility of 5 settings.
  13. I have the one from Carolina Shooter's Supply. The UTG slips on my Tapco stock and seems to fit well. It does a decent job absorbing the recoil. I am really pleased with it especially for 13 dollars. I saw a post a while back about the Limb-saver available at Wally World, for $20. You may want to take a look at that as well.
  14. Thanks for all the work. I need to try some other ammo other than Brown Bear.
  15. I thin you made a good decision with Cadiz. They are great to work with and you will not be disappointed. Great people and great products.
  16. I really like how you can tune the APG mags. I ordered 5 kits and they all run well.
  17. Wow, I like it to. I like how clean it looks on the gun and the price is great. The only down side is there is no rail. I was thinking about adding a vertical grip, but I like to rest my hand on the mag.
  18. Your range sounds great, I hope to one day have some real land. I was in Green Ridge State Forest in Western Maryland, close to WV. There is some decent off road trails, they have an 18 mile loop. Just not a place for the center-fire rifles.
  19. I went camping this weekend and did a little shooting. The state run range had a sound abatement tube for center-fire rifles. Basically a 3 foot corrugated PVC tube you must shoot through. I shot a few mags through my .308, and I had to quit due to the amount of muzzle blast. The tube redirects some of the blast back into you face. You better have eye protection! I knew the 308 had significant muzzle blast, but I was really surprised. I can't imaging shooting the 308 in tight spaces or from a vehicle. We had a good time. I was able to shoot my S-12 without the tube nonsense and m
  20. That is one crazy cash. Lucky bastard to survive that one, hope he recovers. 19 year old male.... I know why the f-body had the highest fatality rating a few years back. I had a few bad crashes in my teen years, thank God nothing like that. I miss and remember my f-body, a lot of good adrenaline rushes were had in that beast. Although, I tried to keep my racing on the drag strip.
  21. Sounds good, I just have a hard time paying big bucks for optics. I have a Primary Arms red dot and have been very pleased. I am looking at the Millet tactical scope or this scope for my 308. I like the Millet, but it is more expensive and mounts higher then the NC star.
  22. I was looking at this scope for my 308. I've heard mixed reviews on NC star as well, but I a willing to give it a try. I like how low it mounts and all the features.
  23. Portland was such a nice city. Looks like the left has F'D it up. Oregon is a great state hopefully the libs can move back to San Francisco.
  24. Wow that is on hell of a deal. Always a day late! 1000 rounds for less than 250!
  25. Just bought 500 rounds of Brown Bear locally for 175 OTD. I have shot Winchester, but I can't afford the price.
