  1. Thanks. If I wanted to replace 1 more part, besides the stock/grip combo and using USA mags, what is the next cheapest part I could replace?
  2. On the Saiga 12: If I replace the buttstock with the Tapco buttstock/pistol grip combo piece and also use an American made magazine, does that bring me into 922r compliance or am I 1 part short?
  3. Right. Do the conversion. It will improve the rifles balance and trigger immensely. It's not hard and is a better investment than the Tapco stock with the integrated grip. Just my $0.02. I don't have the time nor the desire honestly to work on a gun like that. I know some people say it's real easy but I'm not good at all at working with metal and I don't have the patience to fiddle. If I could find a shop locally that would do it for a reasonable price I'd consider it, but I'm not interested in doing it myself. I think I'll just get the American mags.
  4. Yea, I know about 922r compliance. What I am trying to do is use that Tapco T6 stock that has the intergrated pistol grip so I could avoid doing a whole conversion. That's probably not possible without using an American magazine, huh?
  5. Does replacing the stock trigger with the Tapco G2 make the bolt hold open inoperative? This assuming no conversion, just replacing the trigger.
  6. So if I add the stock/pistol grip, handguard, and puck, would I be in compliance even without the fcg?
  7. If I wanted to convert my S12 to the more traditional stock/pistol grip, which parts are the easiest to replace to bring me into 922r compliance? Let's assume I will be using the factory magazine, so those 3 parts cannot be replaced. What would you guys do? I was thinking, the stock/pistol grip, piston, handguards. Better suggestions?
  8. I wonder if getting it pre-drilled is worth it for 10 bucks or if its safer to do it yourself to ensure it fits exactly... I don't know.
  9. There is an option at the bottom of the cheaper one to get it pre-drilled for only $10.
  10. Which 'foreign magazines' are you planning on using? If you're using the factory "sporting" magazines, you have no worries. If you've ordered some 8 or 10 rounders from Russia, you'll need to pick 4 parts off the list to change out. Please note: adding a pistol grip will take you to 15 countable parts. BTW, you need one US part on it now, if you're using US made "non sporting" magazines. Right now it is in its stock configuration. I've looked around and the information is confusing to me. I want to know which parts are replaceable if I intend to use a foreign mag but
  11. If I want to continue to use foreign magazines with the Saiga 12, what other parts can I replace to knock my total down to 10. Also, I have a 19" threaded barrel Saiga 12. Exactly how many foreign parts must be replaced?
  12. What kind are the ones you got? The same I'm asking about?

    Mag Question

How are the 5rd mags made in Taiwan that they sell on this site?
  14. Do you know where I could find that Tapco handguard that has the rails you can optionally attach?
  15. Wow, that was super easy. Thanks so much.
