  1. I'm a avid skydiver, USPA D-24868, with over 600 jumps in 42 States, 100 dropzones, from 36 fixed & 5 rotary wing aircraft. I'm also a accomplished aquarist/fish keeper, I know just about anything pertinent to keeping freshwater fish. Care, feeding, water chemistry, tank/filter maintenance. I've multiple tanks, 10's, 25, 55, 75 gal. I frequent several fish related websites, and am a 'Advice Team' member on one. My baby, is my 7 yr'ol Red Tiger Oscar, Astronotus ocellatus.
  2. Not sleeping. Saiga 12s Exp 01-030 or Saiga KSK for short, Only my dream configuration. If only I could get parts to build it. I gotz a woody watching that... All those sexy goodies wrapped into one awesome package
  3. I don't plan on letting them get close enough for a bayonet, they get inside 5-50yrds and Mr. S12 comes into play.
  4. 100rnd value packs of Federal Multi Purpose, 2 3/4", 1 1/8oz, #7 1/2 or #8 shot, $24.00 at Wally World, they work in my MD20. 25rnd value packs of Winchester Super X Heavy Game or Super Target, 2 3/4", 1 1/8oz, #4 - #8 shot, $7.00- $15.00 at Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, Academy Sports and others, they work just fine too. 250rnd of Winchester Super X Heavy Game or Super Target, 2 3/4", 1 1/8oz, #4 - #8 shot, $55.00-$70.00 at Cabelas. If that is too expensive for you, then you are in the wrong hobby.
  5. I've contributed to those statistics Half a dozen new firearms and 10K+ rounds of various ammo.
  6. One stamp = One ItemBe it a Suppressor, a SBS or whatever. It is not carte blanche to purchase such weapons at will.
  7. Hmmmmm... /me ponders this.... I know of not one weapons system without its problems, but, most aren't chronic issues and are corrected quickly by the manufacturer. However, there are those who don't take care of their customers, and they deserve what ever bad word of mouth they get. Here we have a dissatisfied customer getting the run around, and hes letting his peers know about it. Sounds like a reasonable response to me. ...................................................... ProMag should be here, they should be catering to their customers, they should be doing as Tony, G
  8. Hi'ya peeps, I just ordered some S12 parts from Doug at avtomats-in-action.com. They can be found, get out there and LOOK! Feels good to know I have a complete bolt assembly if I need it. ................................................................................ ..... I may just have to match the Euro and order from Europe for a few things If you know where to find parts, please post your sources here! http://www.avtomats-in-action.com http://www.saiga.gr/D07B97BF.en.aspx
  9. Hands down... MD20. Ditto on the fitting comments. Mine fits like it is actually a part of the receiver, rock solid.
  10. My way...Take a piece of 40lb test fishing line, loop it thru the BHO spring. Drop it atop the BHO slot, long end forward/short end rearward, tight against the receiver, pull down & forward on line compressing the spring against the floor of the rcvr. Insert FCG, insert pin thru FCG & thru BHO spring loop. Place BHO in slot, inbetween spring/FCG. Remove line from spring and rethread from bottom of slot, up & around short leg of spring, lift short end onto BHO. Install hammer, insert pin thru hammer and other end of BHO. You can start with the hammer first if you like.
  11. Retaining Plate... So easy/fast to remove/install. Modify the BHO, and you can strip and reassemble the FCG in 5 minutes.
  12. Black Betty Blam-a-Blam... Can you hear the song in your head? That is until she got repainted, now I must think of something else.
  13. Great shit Posted it on XDtalk.com, AR15armory.com, A couple of gaming forums and a fishkeeping forum... The replies are rolling in.
  14. Still no answer from Tantal @ Avtomats in Action. I've sent it from two emails, just in case one is junked. Cobra, I'd add to this list by requesting a separate firing pin assembly (pin/striker) with 2-3 firing pin springs.
  15. Can I request one or two too, please?Love to have a grab bag of parts.
  16. That just shows you how much he is gouging for! They will continue to charge every penny they think the customer will pay........................................................... Wally Worlds here in Southern Alabama are hit & miss, they get the ammo in and it sells out within 24hrs. I buy all my 9mm luger ammo at WW, and I buy the cheap shit, Blazer Brass 50rnds/Rem UMC 100rnd value packs, I manage to stay well stocked. All WWs seem to have plenty of target/bird (turkey) & asst'd buck, but not in value packs. I go to either Academy Sports or Bass Pro Shops to buy 25rnd boxes
  17. I have the Gunfixer plug, it seems to perform well from what little use I've put it to. Just ordered a KA gas puck this morning.
  18. I wouldn't buy a Promag, too many problems reported with'em.I'm 100% satisfied with my Surefires and MD20 drum, I might buy a few AGPs, to try out, they are very well respected by many.
  19. Buy the Krebs Combat Sight, it is a damned good sight. Great sight picture and super fast target acquisition and very easy to install.
  20. Observe where they bind up, and carefully trim small increments, until they fit properly into your gun.If ammo doesn't feed properly, do the same, see where casing get caught and then correct as needed. Observe what others have done and what has worked, and decide if your capable or willing to do the same.
  21. We're lucky to be able to import the firearm, much less a readily available supply of spare parts. Who knows how to order off that Greek website? http://www.saiga.gr/D07B97BF.en.aspx Anyone know if Tantal does indeed have parts for the S12? Vendors, you make it... I'll buy it.
  22. Welcome to the forum & enjoy the S12! Mine is a three hole too, and they all seem to need a good breaking in. The conversion is too easy, if you have all the parts/tools, you can do it in .5hr or less.
  23. +1. It wasn't as bad as you thought. +2 Ditto
  24. Meh... I didn't even bother to go to the Gun Show here in Mobile this weekend, for much the same reasons. There are NO deals, everyone is gouging for every penny the market will bear. I heard some vendors complaining last month at a show that, "... no one is buying anything (insert bitching)....". One didn't want to listen to me explain why a used Taurus, 44Tracker4SS, shouldn't be $500.00, I can go buy it NIB locally for that, said I, he said, "Go buy it then." Fuck'em!
