  1. Thanks Greg but not necessary. What I was pointing out was that only about 20 percent of the torsion bar that clamps down on the rail makes contact with the rail. There is just not much holding it tight. I can use the Guntech mount on one of my Saiga's but you have a mount that has more clamping contact area on that particular rail I will be more than happy to order 2 Thanks I see what you are saying. I have not noticed that before. The UTG 978 QR would grab more of the surface than the small block of the Guntec. The UTG is much stronger mount also. Order sent, Thanks Greg

  3. Thanks Greg, that would be my daughter with my now 922r compliant MAC90. I'll need to get another side rail and mount and FCG from ya.. as I have one more to go. I've also found that the low $$ Guntech USA mount works very well if disassembled and a lite application of JB weld is used between the picatinny rail and the main Guntech mount. Anyone with a Chinese gun and wants a solid side rail; Gregs got it here. I can't recommend it enough.
  4. Very nice Also just ordered a couple of AK extended safety latches. That just saved me about $100 over the pre-made X 2 Thanks
  5. +10on both of your avatars. Thx gents Mullet Man's avatar is somewhat transfixing. In fact, I can almost see it being used in hypnotherapy
  6. I've done 3 S12's so far and got it down to about 2 1/2 hrs with Ace Folders. My S308 took about 4 hrs and was a bit of a bitch 'caus I assumed it was the same as the 12's.
  7. I think I would order the TROMIX MODIFIED G2 TRIGGER. It come with a retainer spring and saves having to grind on the G2 trigger group
  8. Good to know as I'm in Woodstock, Acworth and Marietta and own a couple of folders. For the car I was considering a Draco pistol from J+G.
  9. Thanks BVamp, that actually makes this little formula work well. 3(12X76)+2(7.26X39)+7.62X51= 3,718.98 ...Can ya tell I'm board at work...
