    TAC 47 INDUSTRIES; I was simply trying to offer the guy a fairly inexpensive "alternative", since he seemed to be on info overload. I was not advocating that he (not send it to you) for the "baddest Saiga on the planet", if that is his choice?

     

    Being located in Austin with my corporate office on "West Little York Road & Hwy 290" in Houston (and not being aware of your business before moments ago) I certainly may have interest in one of those “Bad Saiga’s” you build. However I would expect to be treated with respect, just as I treat my business associates/customers. May we please begin again, on a positive note?

    In order to end-up with something similar to my build do the following;

    Start at http://www.carolinashooterssupply.com/default.asp. (Whatever you are not sure about, email the staff, they answer quickly).

     

    For Saiga rifle model 1Z-32 (AK) order Part Kit SKU#: CSS-RIFLE-2-T6-5PC (including stock, grip, trigger guard, trigger group, hole plugs) $152.

     

    (You will need a separate bullet guide, if you wish to use Mil-Spec Magazines)

     

    For side mount; Check out www.kalinkaoptics.com. Depending on your rail height preference, look at BP-02 AK to Weaver Mount, Low Profile, Centered (AMBP02) $70

     

    My local gunsmith performed the conversion (including - stoning my trigger to 4lbs) for $85

     

    Accuracy test from the range on Feb 19th 2014 = 3/4" MOA @ 100 yds, though it took a little effort to dial-in my POI, using a 1X EOTech at that distance on an "orange" target (but was well worth the effort).

    Seriously Though, if you are looking for a gun held together with Cheap parts and screws you can create one pretty easy and pay a gunsmith 85 buck for stoning a trigger, We sell and install a custom trigger for 49...., if you are looking for something More we can create one pretty easy.

  6. Tac-47 Auto plug

    How many Saiga-20 owners have a Tac-47 Auto plug installed on thier gun? Reason I'm asking is I really want one but am hesitant because after searching all the forums I havent come up with any definite "yes it will work on a S20 for sure" So far only djplaguedaddy has posted any sucess about this. I wish we could get a definite answer from Tac-47. If it was confirmed here I would order one ASAP!!!!!! :super:

     

     

    We market it for the s12.  We have and do put them on the s20s that we build. We have tried them on several and they work fine. We do not market it for the 20 because there are many under gassed guns out there, and the Autoplug would not be the magic fix. The autoplug regulates between high and low brass, and uses the gases efficiently

  7. Whats the verdict on the TAC-47 auto plug

    I like the autoplug personally, but as far as i know it is not recommended to shoot slugs with it.

    On my 19" s12 I found that i dont really have a need for it. After TAC47 converted it for me, i am able to set it to setting 1 on the stock plug and shoot anything out of it including bird shot and slugs. Therefore, I now dont even use the auto plug.

     

    Dont know where you got the info not to shoot the slugs. The autoplug was made for a full range of 2 3/4 ammo.  Also if your gun is cycling on the setting 1 everything you shoot it still would benefit with the autoplug. The autoplug can adjust in much smaller increments than the standard plug, allowing less gas in your weapon.

    I had no luck with this auto plug am I doing something wrong? Did I get a defective one?

     

     

    The autoplug is one of the simplest machines and has very little to be defective. As of this date we have yet to have a defective plug. Please if you would be more descriptive we could help Iron out what problem with the platform you are having.

    Sorry late response.

     

     

    Wolf imported it = A Wolf Chaos came out with a New Verp 12 Rail... = in Chaos Clothing..

     

     

    We changed the receiver 3 degrees and welded the trunnion, we Polished and profiled and nickled the bolt and carrier, Short Reset Trigger and Left side Charging handle. Chaos Quad, We cut and welded the HK sights and also Cut the barrel and tig welded the break for a 18.25 OAL. Sandblasted, Parkerized and the Coated in Teflon. ..We waiting on a recessed Peep sight for the rear.
