  1. Never mind. It helps to put the hammer in the right way.
  2. Newbie here doing a conversion on a .308. I am using a Tapco G2 FCG and have everything ready to go back in but it seems like the Tapco disconnecter spring I picked up is not stiff enough or not long enough one. It does not hold the hammer back. I did a search and only found info about the hole in the disconnecter being drilled too deep causing the hammer to not lock back. Mine appears to be the correct depth and the spring sticks out the same amount past the axle hole as the good one. Thanks for any ideas.
