  1. I used Permatex Ultra Black to install mine on the inside of the handle to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere.
  2. Cameron, are the tops going to be ready to ship when the September sale batch of tri-rails ships?
  3. Oops, yes CSS. Looking at that picture makes it hard to type!
  4. If I knew you better I would make a joke about this, albeit a childish one! I just got the handle from CCS and it is as advertised, well worth the $20 bucks! Makes you thicker and longer! Your charging handle that is. Put something bigger in your hand! (They don't call me "smilin' Bob for nothing) Errr, you are aware that there are mostly men on this board right ... Oh, never mind, we have already been here and I still have no worn the T shirt. Which means a pervs! Speaking of which, where did that picture of that tan brunette in some black get up holding what looked li
  5. So as far as springs go, if they lost their strength from being compressed would you have to put your car on jack stands if you weren't going to drive it? Would all the old cars you see sitting in junkyards and rednecks lawns eventually sit on the frame rails due to spring fatigue? And yes, I have a 68 Chevy truck sitting in my backyard waiting for me to win the lottery, so I must be a redneck! Damn reality sucks, I guess I am not the sexual dynamo I thought I was either.
  6. I've been quoted! Thanks for the info on the mod, that is what I thought.

  8. So, if my gun cycles just fine after CGW did the warranty on it and I installed a GF knob would polishing my bolt do me any good? Or just like most things... if it's not broke, mess with it till it is? Both you guys do nice work by the way. This thread is like watching Jerry Springer, but with shotguns. P.S. Cobra, I borrowed a line from your signature for mine if that is ok? Thought it was a good idea.
  9. This would be sweet and I would totally download a torrent of it! J/K I would buy it, couldn't hurt to watch it.
  10. We haven't nailed down prices yet but they'll be resonable. Thank you sir. I will order mine tomorrow. Now, how do I tell my girlfriend that her unemployed boyfriend just ordered a $100 part for his shotgun!
  11. It would depend on the wire diameter, but the simple answer... LOW.
  12. Cameron, did this question get missed?
  13. Can we move, or other wise get rid of this thread please?
  14. Wow, looks expensive... hell, everyone complains about being able to afford stuff now!
  15. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_mcnair_gun_arrest I am surprised the administration has yet to do anything YET with gun laws.
  16. Looks like I am going to try to get by there next week to check this out. So... is there any questions you would like me to ask and have answered. BE SPECIFIC! And post your question in your reply like this- (example) Question 1: Will your shotgun make it easier to save the world in the inevitable zombie apocalypse? (example) Question 2: Would Tony Rumore refer to this gun as a "Valley Bitch" gun, and why? You get the idea.
  17. So how much are the upper sections for each model (Tri, Quad, & HK)? Does production cost the same for each, or is there are large enough difference to change the cost of each upper half? Just asking for those who may be interested in switching out the tops in the future.
  18. DAMN, beat me to it! Awesome product at a good price!
  19. The chief said the assailant's weapon, a pump-action 12-gauge shotgun with a retractable stock and a sling lined with slotted shells... SOURCE- http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/17/nyregion...&ei=5087%0A
  20. Well, it just so happens I live in Meridian Idaho so I may just have to try to track these folks down and see if they will let me check it out.
  21. I think you phrased your question incorrectly. I think you want to know if it is produced from a casting, or milled from a solid billet ingot or extrusion. It is 6061 which is a pretty standard grade for aftermarket products. Hope this helps you get the answer you are looking for. I also don't know the answer of how it is produced, but I do know if it is from a billet or extrusion... this is a good deal.
  22. Mine was a "vodka special", or what I like to refer to as the limited edition with the rare "military barrel"! Anyhow, from what I understand if your gun has just TWO holes then it MAY have issues cycling low brass due to not enough gasses getting to the piston system to operate the action. Test it first with cheapo wally world ammo, and check it to see how many holes it has and that they are not blocked or obstructed then go from there.
