Anybody Used the Saiga .308 rifle brake by SGM?
bac0n replied to bigmikefromolemiss's topic in Saiga .308
It looks like a good idea for people that don't want to thread the barrel, but is too expensive in my book. They should have made an FSB with a detent pin and 24mm threads to accept brakes that are already on the market. -
Any Tech Sight reviews?

Sks and Benelli to fund Saiga addiction...
bac0n replied to bac0n's topic in Saiga Weapons - General Discussion
True, but I have a virgin 16" .308 that is begging to be played with. I'm just waiting on some more parts. Converting the gun is half the fun. I don't wanna pay someone to have fun with my guns -

The stock is tiger striped. I'm not sure who did it, but it came from CAI like that when I worked at a gun store. It was nice to get first dibs on cool stuff at awesome prices. Being in Cali you can only imagine what the cool gun situation was like before I left about 6 months ago. It was mad crazy. Anyways I should be good on elk and deer I have in the freezer for another month or so. Shit I just spilled a PBR on my keyboard -

I think I gonna keep the SKS. All matching numbers from Tula. The Benelli I have no use for. It was cool when I lived in Cali, but I am now in Colorado so I can have detachable mags on a semi auto shotty -
I have really been eyeballing a Saiga IZ-132 and IZ-109. I was thinking of getting rid of my 1950 Russian SKS and my Benelli M2 Tactical to fund getting these. There is nothing wrong with them, I just haven't shot them in a few months. I can't keep my hands off of my Saiga .308. I already have the ammo for both so it would be an easy transition. No need to stock up on more ammo until I have mags for them. Do you guys have any thoughts or suggestions? This is NOT a WTS post. Just a question.

Crafty try the DPH tri-rail for the 308. One of their models is specific to the .308. Carolina Shooters Supply sells them. DPH Arms seems to be out.

What Happened To Those Bolt-on Gas Block Front Sights

Ace Ltd. has them under AK -> AK accessories... -
That looks great. DPH is it. Thanks CarolinaSS!

Anyone else have any input? Still on the fence, but leaning towards a DPH. I'm sure both are great. Guess I'll just take the plunge...

Hi peeps. I still have a virgin .308 16" Saiga. I was wondering if there was anybody that has had any experience with the forends from DPH and Surefire? I would like to keep the gun as light as possible, but with 25rd mags don't think it will make much of a difference. I am torn between the two and have read great reviews about each, but have not heard opinions nor suggestions regarding one over the other. I'm thinking maybe a Tromix Stock w/ Surefire forend or DPH Stock w/ DPH forend. Fire away...

Break bbl spring piston air-rifles recoil forward, not backwards. This scope is NOT rated for centerfire use. I would NOT consider it unless I wanted a scope that would break after a few hundred rounds, if that...
